This place is unreal. I'm going to be honest, from the outside I wasn't expecting it to be quite so beautiful in the secret garden. But definitely go for dinner here. We went smart casual but I think any dress code is welcome, from heels to trainers. It is divine dining. The best bit, they're dog friendly outside so Vinny joined us (and they treated him really well too). They've got outside heaters & blankets. Prices was about £150 for two, 3 course with wine and some cocktails. Experience it. Service was excellent too.

Super stylish hotel with a personal touch. It is family run so no corporate vibe or souless identikit here, more of a quirky take-us-as-we-are relaxed mood. …

Had dinner in one of the pods. 4 adults, 2 children and a dog. Food was excellent, loved the fire roasted leeks and fillet (although I always want the fillet to be slightly bigger), lamb was great as was the celeriac. The vegetable sides were also great. Treacle tart was very good. Overall a very lovely evening. Service was decent.

Considering the price of our room this hotel did not live up to my expectation.||There was a rancid looking sheep's wool rug on the floor that needed to be put in the bin, along with the gone off milk left in a flask!  …

Fabulous place. Our room (and the entire stay) was amazing — the best we had over three weeks in Wales. The breakfast was similarly excellent, and every staff member we interacted with was helpful, efficient and friendly. Tasteful boutique luxury of the finest kind. Thank you!

We booked this Hotel last minute as we were looking for a dog friendly hotel for one night along the coast and we are so glad that there was availability, Llys Meddyg is a gem, the hotel is situated on the main road so easy to get too, they have a car park (albeit a bit small) but we were able to park without any hassle. Our room was a dog friendly room, room N°7. It's described as cosy and they weren't wrong. It's small and very tight getting down the left hand side of the bed. The bed is low level so no good if you have issues bending down. It was fine for us as we were only staying one night. The bathroom was a decent size though with a funky wooden basin. I would definety recommend booking into their " Secret Garden" restaurant, the food is outstanding, Photos don't do this place justice.. The staff were very welcoming and all said hello to our dog. Would highly recommend.

I was lucky enough to photograph a wedding at Llys Meddyg this past weekend. It was my first visit there, and hopefully not my last. It was such a beautiful location, and the outdoor space for the ceremony was idyllic. Not to mention how amazing the food was; I think the lamb might just be the best I've ever eaten. It was an incredible day, and I would highly recommend Llys Meddyg if you are looking for a wedding venue. If you want to see some images from the wedding, why not head over to my website; https://www.ourbeautifuladventure.co.uk/blog/james-and-laurens-wedding-at-llys-meddyg-hotel-in-pembrokeshireI hope to be back there again very soon,Rachael

We were walking the coastal path for our honeymoon, and Llys Meddyg was our last night of the trip. We have had an absolute blast! It was pretty quiet as it was a Thursday evening, it would be amazing to go back when a lot of people are around, as this place is so beautiful! We loved all the natural materials used in the bedroom and all around the place. It felt very nice. The bartender that night was a really guy, we had a nice chat, he also brought us soya milk to the bedroom when we said we were vegans. In terms of the food… wow! It was one of the best meal we have ever had, it was so beautifully presented, dishes well thought through, and barely any processed food. It’s so refreshing to have such beautiful and delicious food. As vegans we’re usually served highly processed thing in between of 2 slices of bread and a bag of chips. So yeah, the food was absolutely astonishing. It was a really amazing surprise when both the chef and front of house person said that the chefs prepared a vegan dessert after seeing they had vegan bookings in the evening. The extra mile was extremely appreciated.Overall, we had an amazing time and this place need to be recognised.Thank you, we’ve ended our honeymoon on a very, very high note! ⭐️
