So nice to see this hostelry coming to life again under new management and serving good food. Limited lunch menu but all freshly cooked and extremely reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed the home made coleslaw and recommend the vegetable and humus burger. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Aberaeron.

The staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our room has been cleaned and was comfy. But I felt it was very overpriced for what we got. The blind in one window wouldn't lower, and the skylight just had a mesh blind, so no way to keep out the early morning sun light, hard to sleep after about 5am. Could also do with a coat of paint to cover up mucky marks on walls.

Good location, but room was facing main road so noisy. Bedroom really needed a fresh coat of paint but was comfortable ensuite shower room nicely painted but toilet bowl wanted scrubbing, limescale the shower head was mouldy and grout was black with mould and rusty toiletries holder.Best thing was the breakfast, nicely cooked with local bacon cooked and served by lovely chef. I hope they manage to rectify problems as it would be a great shame if this lovely building closed down.
