A good stay and lovely welcome from Huw. Felt very at home and the location is good for the town where we were attending a concert at Luna lounge. Plenty of safe parking at the rear car park.  …

What a hidden gem this is.I stay in Bridgend and the surrounding area about once a month for work and have stayed all over. This time some colleagues had planned a meal out in Bridgend centre, so I decided to stay nearby and came across Mairs bed and breakfast purely by chance. What a gem. This is a well run, very clean, well kept bed and breakfast. I stayed in room 5, at the top of the property, which was absolutely lovely. The bathroom was spotless as was the entire place.Everything worked, nothing was broken or even a bit loose. Other places should come here and they could learn a thing or two.The host is Huw who is such a nice guy. He keeps this place in tip top condition, take huge pride in giving good service, has superb customer service skills himself and cooks a lovely breakfast, using local eggs, sausages and bacon. They have decent WiFi and try to be as eco friendly and sustainable as possible.I will certainly stay again and would recommend this to anyone planning to stay locally.

Stayed here for one night to attend a nearby wedding in Southerndown. This is such a lovely B&B and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Our room was beautifully done out and really clean. Huw the owner could not have been friendlier and more helpful and he cooked us a lovely breakfast in the morning too! Thanks Huw for a fantastic stay.
