I can't comment on rooms as we only went in for food. Staff were great, and the service was too. I ordered the ham & chips, it may just be me, but I wasn't impressed with having cold meat on my plate surrounded by hot food. I did think the ham would be hot, too, but it was a though it came straight out the fridge. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Had lunch here and it's the worst place I've ever been to. Small portions and tastless food. Food came out cold, the vegetables were cold. I had to send the food back. The young girl said she would warm it up, food came back with the nut roast warm and veggies were colder than when it first came out. No effort in the food. The young staff aren't experienced or trained either. I didn't eat the food, i sent it back and got a refund. Will never step foot in there again!!!!

We visited this hotel in March 2024 and were so impressed we booked for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend and awarded it a 5 star rating on TripAdvisor. Oh dear what a difference 5 months make. We were unimpressed by this visit. …

The service was nice. Long cues to order food. Not sure about the hotel aspect however the food aspect I am confidently able to tell the story. My mom went to order the food whilst I waited with the dog, a bit later she came back and the food followed in slowed down steps. When the food came, I took a bite of my burger and it seemed fine it was warm but I didn't put much thought in to checking but I would later wish I thoroughly inspected my burger as I had a stomach ache and ignored it but then I went on a walk and all hell broke loose as the somehow poisoned burger escaped my other end in the middle of a field.I got food poisoning, don't eat here.
