Called in for lunch whilst on holiday in the area. Good selection and very reasonably priced. It is what I would call a proper country pub rather than a chain owned group. Very friendly staff and dog friendly with a very good outdoor seating area.

The best pub / b&b easily in the UK if not internationally - fantastic owners, great crowd, food to die for and the best hospitality, bar none! Played here as a musician recently and I was more than looked after! Sue and Ian are doing a fantastic job and I could never run out of good words to say about them ❤️ thank you so much for my stay guys and I cannot wait to be back! x

Nice ambiance in a great location, the food was really excellent served piping hot. Great menu and they accommodated four adults and our five spaniels inside with no problem, although because of the football being on, which we were sat underneath we chose to sit outside in the garden as it was a lovely evening. 😊

Stayed 1 night. Weather was beautiful, location excellent, room clean and pleasant, shared terrace with views of countryside. ||Waited 2 hours for our main course at dinner, disappointing and when food arrived it was mediocre. …
