Great experience staying here, it was in a quiet location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and plenty of space to store luggage. The sofa is great for relaxing on in an evening. The bathroom was large and the shower was excellent. The staff were pleasant and very friendly. Had a few issues with things outside of their control and they solved them with ease and a smile. The location is right by the bay which was perfect for what I needed. Its a 30min walk into town or there is a bus stop and train station about a 5 minute walk.Would definitely stay here again especially for ease of access to the millennium theatre.

Visited here on the weekend for a 1 night stay. A bit disappointed that there was scaffolding and the windows had been taped over so you have no view. This should have been advertised on booking that renovations were in place. …

Very clean room and comfortable beds. Easy checkout and friendly staff. I didn't get to try the breakfast or dinner in the restaurant but it looked like a great place to eat. If you are coming to Cardiff bay for a holiday or business then this would be a great place for you to stay.

When we turned up, it was basically surrounded by scaffolding and was next to a large building site. We went to a concert that night and upon returning to the hotel, free snacks were available to everyone who went to the concert. The following morning (Saturday) we were woken by the sound of heavy machinery breaking concrete on the building site! This was not a good start to the day. However, when we went for breakfast the staff were AMAZING!!!. Ashley was a superstar and he could work easily in a five star hotel. Everyone was attentive, wanted to help and made the whole experience so memorable. Yes the hotel is tired and needs freshening up, our room smelled really musty as if it used to be a smoking room. Yes the hotel is covered in scaffolding and is right next to a big building site. However, the location is really good as it's a short walk to the bay but overwhelmingly the staff are simply first class!! Well done to all who work there.

Ideally located hotel if you're planning a stay in Cardiff Bay, which is less than five minutes away by foot. There is a car park situated next to the hotel for which you will receive a discounted parking rate.Service was a little slow in the bar when we stayed on our overnight Sunday stay ( we were the only two people in the bar at the time), but this was only a slight negative.Picture show our Premier Plus room.

Great hotel in a perfect location for getting to the city centre. Lots of restaurants/bars accessible with a short walk to the bay. ||Staff very friendly & helpful and a good breakfast available in the morning. Whilst you have to pay extra, car park is very easy to get to and easy to access.

Booked this hotel several months ago for an upcoming event. Lack of clarity and communication from the hotel about the two building sites nearby had me concerned. …

Great location near to the marina with a car park next door. Room clean and a nice size. Reception staff not so welcoming. No 'welcome' or 'your room is on the 3rd floor and the lifts are over there'. Small things make a big difference.
