Stunning views from hotel an very kind attentive staff. Great welcome. Easy to park. We had lunch as a treat which was great. Ingredients such as cod bites an prawns probably need to be fresh not frozen otherwise we would have ordered that.Decoration in public areas nice an it's brilliant that it is still a family business.

In spite of seeing some mixed reviews I can only say that my stay was very enjoyable. Room was excellent in every way. Plenty of space, very comfortable beds, very clean, great sea views with balcony. Food very good, maybe little pricey for evening meal. Could make swiming pool bit warmer.

Stepping back in time! A hotel with amazing potential and views that needs a full refurb. Tired and dated, chipped bath, basin plug hole - chrome worn away, shower curtain, filthy windows throughout.  …

Fantastic stay with my family. A great location overlooking the beach and Golf course. Very attentive staff and food was to a high standard. The swimming pool is fantastic for a rainy day. Excellent customer service, traditional and hard to come by in other establishments.Already looking forward to returning next year !

Booked a room here for a special anniversary. I requested a sea view with balcony room but we got a double with sea view, so didn’t quite understand what I wanted. …

Hotel location excellent with amazing views. Clearly popular with families who have been coming for generations, but as a first-time guest was disappointed given the price.Hotel itself very dated and requires a lot of work to justify its 4* rating and price.Staff was friendly, but hotel procedures limited the level of service that could be provided (e.g. requesting to have a window seat at breakfast in empty dining hall, but not being permitted given hotel policy…)Breakfast was very average.Overall, good location but the food, amenities and overall standard of the hotel itself do not justify the price.
