Booked a baby shower at the castlemead with Lorna, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Fantastic communication, friendly and relaxed. The food and setting were perfect. Lorna and her staff are so friendly and accommodating. …

Lovely location, friendly staff, free parking. We booked because of the location and photos of the hotel and its room. The location is excellent. Near the beach, a castle is next to it and there is a Norman church on a near by hill.  …

We stayed here while walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Although the room was small, the bed was very comfortable and there was a big bath. A must for me after a long day walking. The situation is exactly. …

Return visit, beautiful room with views of the gardens, down to the sea and the church. Very comfortable nights sleep, plenty of towels in the bathroom and a well stocked tea tray in the room. …

I agree with some of the other reviews, avoid the Coach house rooms. We had two booked, one for us and one for our daughter-in-law. Ours, particularly, looked dated and worn out. …

This hotel has a good location, a fine old building and good decor. I'm sure it once justified its 4 star rating. But. Oh dear. …

I was be unhappy with my stay here. I felt it was a good value for the money and the room was clean. The restaurant was very good and i found the setting charming. I also liked the service. I did not rate it 5 stars only because it is not that type of facility, but overall I liked my stay.

Superb hotel just a short stroll from Manorbier beach and just across the road from the castle. Great rooms with fantastic views, the breakfast was well cooked with lots of options and the evening meal We had in their restaurant was first class. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service swift and efficient. Would definitely recommend and return.
