Thank you to the Clovelly for a good stay. This is a family run establishment with friendly proactive staff. Clean, quiet and well located for the promenade and pier.I stayed here for a short work trip and found easy parking around the corner.Owners kindly set me up with a continental breakfast as I had to leave before normal breakfast service the next day and arranged for a dinner despite me arriving later on the evening. The service is much more personalised than at the larger hotels in the area.I hope to be back!

Visited The Clovelly for three nights on 9th September with my son. Warm welcome on arrival from Gaye, who explained all that we needed to know, showed us where to park my car and also took down our meal choices for the evening meal.  …

Another excellent visit, this great hotel is right near the promenade and if you are lucky with timing you can park right outside the front door (there are a few permits which also make it free to park there). …

Golf trip in Wales. Stayed with a group of mates for last 2 years. Fantastic hospitality and a superb location on the front. Breakfast and every meal excellent. Ed’s restaurant style food was amazing. This place is well worth a visit and won’t break the bank.

My wife and I stayed for two nights (12 and 13 July 2024). We stayed in Room 4 and paid £213 with breakfast included. The location is great, situated adjacent to the promenade, and a minutes walk from most restaurants and shops. Decor was tired, but rooms clean. The breakfast was cooked to order and was nice. All staff were very pleasant. The biggest downside to our stay was our room was directly above the hotel bar, and the drinking can go on quite late and be a bit rowdy.
