We booked an overnight stay for a beach break with grandchildren, and were very pleased with this lovely hotel. Lovely location, great, comfy rooms, really friendly staff and a great breakfast! Beautiful views, but in a nice, peaceful location, but not far from the coast. Very pleased with our choice.

The hotel was very clean and tastefully decorated and furnished. The rooms and bathrooms are big. The staff were welcoming and very accommodating. We were well looked after by friendly people and we had lovely relaxing stay. …

**Disappointing Experience - Not Worth the Cost**We were quite disappointed with our stay at this hotel. For the amount we paid, we expected much more. No breakfast was included, which was surprising given the price. On top of that, there was no food saying we had to go near by pubs on the day of our arrival. The room itself was lacking—there was no bottle of water provided, the least we expect. To make matters worse, the bed’s slate was broken. This resulted in the worst sleep we’ve ever had in a hotel as we had to be careful as we check because the bed had sunk in Overall, the experience was far from what we anticipated, and we wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Situated just outside the town, the views from the front of the hotel were fantastic, with seating available in the late afternoon sun and a nice cold drink after a days touring. The facilities in the room were very good with a generously sized bathroom and good sized towels. During our stay there was no evening meal, but the hotel did provide two local hotels where an evening meal was available. Along with directions from the rear of the hotel through the local graveyard, although we did have to climb over a metal gate, on the way just near the church there was a a raised tump which gave a great 360 view of the welsh mountains, which was compensation for our trek.

I have stayed at this hotel at least four times now: twice for business and twice for pleasure. Every time my stay has been enjoyable and this is my go-to hotel for the Snowdonia area. For motorcycles: no covered parking or ground anchors.Pros:- Amazing full Welsh breakfast that will keep you going until dinner time. Perfect for walkers, hikers and bikers needing fuel.- Location is remote enough to enjoy gorgeous views, but still close enough to the major towns by car to get the essentials. The hotel is also in a quiet spot.- Many great attractions, walking routes etc within 1 hr drive.- Prices are often much cheaper than the alternatives in the bigger towns.- Ample parking.- Rooms are overall clean and of good quality.- Staff are great.Cons:- I cannot really think of any tbh.

Amazing friendly service, stunning views and huge rooms, had a wonderful stay here on our walking holiday. They were serving evening meals after all, which was great as there aren't many options nearby. The recently refurbished bar is beautiful.

The first thing to understand about this hotel is that its primary function is not a hotel, it’s a respite home for mentally disabled adults, with a few room that are let out. Its usual guests and their carers are encouraged to eat and engage with other guests which can make it an interesting stay. All the staff were lovely, although so I think are ex clients. And the room (10) was lovely & clean, very big but freezing cold when we got there. We ordered an extra large double bed but it was standard and the washing machine did kick in at about 0700, so no lie ins. Also, with no breakfast included, this hotel was the most expensive break we had on a 3 night trip. Sorry guys, lovely location but not worth the money.

Good hotel, but I write this review to say the two members of staff, chef and reception are total legends. Lasagne dinner made for me late in the day and being proper looked after!||Room was clean and tidy, I arrived and left in the dark so can’t say much about the immediate area,||Massive thank you from the very tired cyclist😂
