A lovely stay here on our bike packing journey through Wales. There was a bike store and they kindly let us use their washing machines for our cycling kit. Breakfast was delicious and for dinner there was the option to order cold platters (as long as you ordered before 6pm) which were also very tasty - see picture. Would recommend to anyone cycling through the area!

We stayed in the wagner room, which is the honeymoon suite, it's huge and the bed is so comfy. You get a separate small room with a sofa and TV, the bathroom is amazing with a bath and a huge shower. You also get a balcony. If you want a cooked breakfast you have to choose it the night before on a form and leave outside your room. Breakfast was lovely in the music room. The only let down was that the girl that served us at breakfast was wearing biker shorts and vest with converse boots, not suitable outfit for the service. But overall a great place, with great views too.

This was a dreadful experience from start to finish. We arrived on a Sunday evening to a deserted hotel, There was no one to greet us, envelopes were left outside for guests to open, with a code to open the main door and a code for a key …

We had the most wonderful stay at Plas Dolguog. The location and setting are stunning, the rooms are beautifully decorated, the en suites are appointed with quality fittings and L’Occitane products, the breakfast sets a new standard for bed and breakfast, and above all else the people are warm and welcoming. What a treasure!
