Upon arrival we was greeted by a staff member who wasn’t helpful at all and remained sat down facing away from us, we was told we was no longer booked into the hotel and they’d booked us into the sister hotel when asking where this hotel is …

The hotel was hard to find from the outside with it not having a large sign or entrance but once we found it we really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, half way between the palace & castle, just off the royal mile. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is warm, clean and comfortable. The internal layout is a little strange, we had to walk through 4 doors and up a few steps to our room. The room was spacious and well equipped. We would stay again.

So happy to have stayed in this place. Location is brilliant and the rooms are spacious and clean, the bathroom as well. I highly recommend staying here. It's right next to Anchor Close and if you go up the steps you're on the Royal Mile. I would most definitely stay here again if I were to go back to Edinburgh. The only negative thing I have to say is that there was no hair dryer in the room and with freezing temperatures and two girls with long hair, it would have made the stay even better if we had had the possibility to dry our hair before heading out.

Great hotel and great location! Both room and bathroom were clean and modern. Just off the Royal Mile and a five minute walk from Princes Street. Would definitely stay here again. Only negatives are lack of hair dryer in the room and at times a bit noisy (not sure, though, if that's because of noisy guests).

Perfect location, comfy, clean rooms. Good shower and friendly staff. 24hr reception so easy off a late flight. Nice bar.The only down side is there is a very limited breakfast selection if you are Gluten Free. If you are then don't pay for a breakfast (mistake on our behalf) and go to the Edinburgh Lader, 3minute walk to a brilliant breakfast cafe that caters fur the Gluten Free dietary!

Nice clean modern rooms containing an iron and ironing board, hairdryer. Great location only a few minutes to and from Weaverly Train Station. Quaint little bar, breakfast available but at 12.50 each person to much to pay. Better and cheaper breakfasts in the immediate area. Positive note, they will allow you to drop off your luggage before and after checking out. Would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Edinburgh Scotland

What a great hidden gem. A short walk from High Street and the Royal Mile. Pubs, shopping, a castle all a short walk from the hotel. When the cab pulled up we were slightly concerned, even the driver wasn't sure it was a hotel. Don't let the facade fool you, it's a fully updated hotel. Great rooms, breakfast, a bar and anything you need close by. You can't go wrong with this inn.

Great little hotel in the heart of Edinburgh's gorgeous Old Town. Rooms are clean and modern with large bathrooms. Ours was handicap accessible throughout. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant and bar on the 2nd floor offering made to order breakfast every morning. Coffee shop and Cafe as well just off the first floor. Hotel is within walking distance of all of Old Town's attractions.

The staff especially Anna is wonderful, helpful, and courteous. They held deliveries, helped figure out mistakes by vendors and did so without question not attitude..in fact with a smile. The rooms are nice but odd. They are high tech though we were told nothing of it. The entry card system seems unpredictable. My card quit working twice..Also, the area is awful for people with mobility issues. The road is very steep and is something not mentioned by any travel manual. That is very important when traveling with a person who can barely walk.
