We had several rooms in our group... one side of the hotel has an impressive view of Edinburgh paired with tired old bathrooms, the other side doesn't have a view and is twinned with a fresh modern bathroom. …

Location- The location is great. Not too far from the city centre. There is a bus stop outside of the hotel and this is the cheapest and best way to travel. …

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. The room was comfortable and we had a great view overlooking the city. We left during the day to explore so we rarely had a clear view when the morning mist moved off. Even with the mist it was still beautiful to watch. I also found these beautiful flowers on the grounds.

**Hotel Review: Holiday Inn, Edinburgh**We had a decent stay at the Holiday Inn in Edinburgh. The beds were very comfortable, and despite the room being small and somewhat aged, it was still cozy. We encountered an issue with the air conditioning, but management handled it efficiently. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was basic, with a selection of carbs and protein. There is a gas station within walking distance for grabbing snacks. While the hotel isn’t very centrally located, there are convenient bus services, and ride shares are easy to order. Overall, we would give it a 4 out of 5 rating.

Couldn't fault a thing at this hotel - don't be deceived by its ugly exterior! Staff went above and beyond, making the room special for our daughters' birthday and being attentive and friendly at every opportunity. …

Great place to stay for a weeks break in Edinburgh bus connections excellent to city centre. Retail park over road for food and bits. Staff were amazing and so helpful when wife ended up in hospital.Bath took ages to fill only snag to report, breakfast was more than adequate but the staff certainly make this hotel with the happiest front of house showing us to table at breakfast.

I’ve got very little to make any negative comments about. The hotel was very close to the bus stop, and served our needs for our concert at the castle well.Make sure you pay for your parking INSIDE the hotel rather than in the Carpark, as you will be given a discount code. Rooms were large and very comfortable. Very clean hotel. Staff very friendly. Better choice of eggs at the buffet breakfast would have been nice, but other than that, nothing o moan about. Will stay again.

Well welcomed by the Receptionist. Room was as requested, and very clean. Just the job for what we required for our 3 day stay and visit to Edinburgh. Bus stops right outside the hotel with regular services to and from the city. Breakfast was excellent, with a great choice. Would well recommend this Hotel.
