Hotel is perfect for location (right off the royal mile) and the rooms were nice enough. ||||Parking is an absolute nightmare and the hotel doesn’t have any handout or link to help you find available parking garages. …

Room was comfortable, clean but small. Location just steps off the Royal Mile was perfect! Front desk staff were friendly and efficient, but we did have some trouble getting room cleaned and bedding was not changed during our three night stay. Adequate self-serve breakfast with no hot items.|

This hotel is in a great location right by the royal mile and castle and the rooms are spacious. Staff were nice too.Housekeeping doesn’t change sheets or give you new towels which was kind of strange. They just make your bed and tidy up a bit…Also I hope you like bag pipes or as I call them now “squeak bags” because you are going to be hearing them from 9am-9pm 😩 windows are pretty thin so sounds from the street can be clearly heard.

Fantastic experience with Fraser Suites. Staff is welcoming and accomodating. Rooms are spacious. Property is always clean. As said in other reviews on Fraser, the first things that hits you when you look out the window of your room is the amazing views of the city’s historic and beautiful architecture. Steps from the Royal Mile with walking distance to amazing sites, pubs and restaurants. We dropped our daughter off for graduate school and will pick her up next summer; we’ll be staying at Fraser again, no doubt. Thanks to the employees for all their help.

A perfect location. So close to the Royal Mike with its abundance of restaurants and assorted activities. Well appointed rooms- we had a suite which allowed more room to spread out and as an added bonus after flying for 30 our room was ready before check in time. It very much appreciated.,

More to be desired from such a renown brand. Rooms felt dated and in need of a makeover.Location was great, just a stone throw to the Royal Mile which is the most happening tourist street however if you are traveling by bus/tram walking from the station is going to be a challenge. You have to lug your luggage and climb up the hill or many flight of steps, probably Im just unfit but its something you should take note of.Staff were rather nonchalant just getting on with their duties, no added experience neither does the place feel welcoming.I am disappointed because I expected more after paying such a premium price.

Stopped here to attend the Fringe. The location is amazing, just where you would want to be. 4 minutes from the train station and the same to the castle, everything is a short walk away. My only real criticism is that the rooms are dated and in real need of a refresh. I understand that the prices are much higher during the festival and you pay for convenience, but £1200 for 3 nights in an average room at best is a lot.
