It was a hotel couple years ago. Now it is a shelter, a hotel for homeless. Old beautiful building, spacious rooms.

Booked and paid for hotel in May for overnight stay in November as we had early flight from Glasgow airport. On arrival at 10pm - late check in until midnight - the receptionist told us there was no room available. …

We stayed for a long weekend with 2 young children. The hotel is beautiful from the out side although the journey to it seems a tad daunting but don’t worry, we were greeted by a lady at reception (who I think was called Denise) she was …

I stayed here on business at the start of November. It was the only hotel I could find close to where I was working, as COP26 was on, so accommodation was limited. …

From we landed till we left t was a total disappointment.. Notified in advance we wouldn't be there until 12 midnight but still demanded 10 pounds for late check in and the Porter was an ill mannered disgrace. …

So the excitement began immediately on arrival at the Scotia Airport Hotel. The Taxi Driver laughed at me when we pulled up and said how popular it is and that I could see that for myself by the big empty car park out the front. …

Booked and confirmed accommodation 4 days before arrival, to be told on arrival that they had double booked us! A few minutes later, the door bell went and on the hotel steps was some people who had been sent from another hotel as they were homeless. After my husband phoned the manager/owner, we were given a room! The room was very tired looking. The bedside table was dirty with ring marks from drinking vessels. I got stuck in the ensuite, as I couldn't get the door open. Incidentally, the towel rail and toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall.We didn't use the television, but it started to flash green and red light on it - could be replacement of batteries required in the remote control. No on on reception, other than when we arrived, to report it to.Seemed to be quite a bit of activity of people ringing the doorbell after 10.30pm. As there was no one on the desk - who was letting these people in?I wish I had read some of the reviews before we booked. Will not be back, or recommend!

Showed up for our reservation. had to ring the doorbell several times, only to be told that our room had been damaged and we couldn't stay there. I got lucky when my cousin showed up. I had to frantically find another hotel a long ways out of town for twice the price. When I contacted them by email later, i was told that they tried to contact me, but my phone records show no such call.

We booked 3 rooms for our business trip. After a long drive we arrived at the hotel and a very strange/odd man at the reception told us that our reservation wasn't approved by the credit card. …

Stayed here for the night before getting my early flight to London. Staff were very kind and helpful asked at the reception if they could give me the number of a local taxi service for in the morning and he booked a taxi for me there and then which was nice. Room was very comfortable nice warm soft bed to sleep on. Only issue I had really was that my room was just off the reception and I could hear everything going on outside including whenever people were entering the hotel etc.
