We arrived on a gloomy, dark day to this superb hotel, a magnificent site overlooking the Clyde. The room was fantastic, we got the extra large bed upgrade, well worth it, the deco is very Scottish which was very well put together. We accessed the spa linked to the hotel to a nice, quite large pool to do lanes in. A large conservatory overlooking the river and the best got tub ever outside. We didn't dine on site. For breakfast we were greeted by a very friendly team and enjoyed the open view onto the golf course, breakfast was complete and of good quality. . Can't fault it we had a great time.

We expected a relaxing getaway at Gleddoch Golf & Spa Resort but instead endured two sleepless nights due to a loud, disruptive wedding. No peace, no use of the facilities, and total disregard for guest comfort. …

Staff were all lovely however I had emailed a request for decorations to be in the room on arrival for my partners birthday which I had received a response saying they could absolutely do this. When we arrived I’d given my partner the key, excited for his reaction, but there were no decorations, only a card. I’d of been completely fine if the request was denied but was disappointed that it had been promised and failed. We were also disappointed that the “super king bed” was actually two mattresses put together with a sheet on top, making for an uncomfortable sleep due to the seam line sticking out. Our blind was also broken and unable to open.Pool facilities were lovely and relaxing and couldn’t have been happier with the food, drinks and service. Just a shame that the bedroom let down the stay.
