Hotel clean, bed comfy and hotel very centrally located. However, my room key kept failing, which meant a number of trips back down to reception. …

This hotel might seem appealing with its colors and modern style, but my experience was somewhat disappointing. The rooms are small, the beds are somewhat uncomfortable, and worst of all, the cleanliness is much lower than expected. What bothered me the most is that the hotel isn’t actually on Sauchiehall Street as its name suggests, but on a nearby street. Despite this, the staff made a noticeable effort to please the guests, and I did notice a lot of tourists staying there.

Small but perfectly appointed room, very clean, great shower etc - perfect as a stopover before a work event the next morning. Lovely welcome at front desk and nice bar area, nice atmosphere with a few people chatting and playing pool in the bar.

Ideal for a cheap stay for 1-2 days. The rooms are average but could be better in terms of cleaning and heating. Also, the website gave us problems with online reservations and I could not make a reservation.

Great stay, clean room, very welcoming staff. It is a shame about the building work around the hotel but that's not the hotels fault. |Our only complaint was the coffee machine at breakfast, very very slow, time for a change!|Would definitely stay again

The first thing you're greeted with on arrival is the awful building work with very loud and disruptive noise. If I'd known this I would not have booked this hotel. The building work starts very early too which was awful. …

We stayed here for four nights. Room looks exactly the same as ant other Ibis hotel we have stayed, not that big but big enough for our luggage. Bed was okay, but keep in mind to check the matrasses every now and then. When you close the window the room is very quiet, no noises from outside but also no fresh air. When you open the window you are woken up by a lot of noise from the construction side outside the building. Would be nice if we were informee about this before hand…Breakfast was not okay (way too overpriced though), when you arrive between 07:00-07:30 there a way too many people and there is hardly any place to sit. When you arrive after 08:30 a lot of food has been gone and it takes too long for it to be refilled. Coffee machine is slow (doesn’t even serve cappuccino ?!). Scrambled eggs taste weird.Room gets cleaned very well. They even asked us if everything was okay.

For the price this was perfect for us. Quaint but just what we needed. Friendly staff and clean environment. No frills, so if you're there to spend most of your time exploring the city and not up in the room, this is the place to stay. Will stay again.
