This is a wonderful B&B in quiet area not far from the town center and close to the hiking trails. The place was clean with all the amenities. Isabelle was a great host and the breakfast was made fresh and delicious. Great value and I highly recommend.

Fabulous B&B. Excellent garden studio apartment. Very well appointed. Excellent shower- best in the UK! Great location when walking the coastal path. Continental breakfast included. Coffee or tea on arrival with Welsh Cakes. Highly recommend.

I had a great one-night stay here in March 2022. After arriving drenched from a long day on the bike, Isobel and Richard's warm and helpful welcome was just what I needed. The accommodation in the shape of a well equipped cabin is also excellent. The continental breakfast is another highlight. You're in a peaceful and scenic spot but you can walk to Newport's pubs and restaurants in five minutes. The value for money must be hard to beat.

A beautifully appointed self contained B&B. Easy to get to located just up from a gorgeous walk to the small iron bridge up the estuary - great for a stroll or you can go further. The bed is great and the shower is superb.Β β¦

Stayed here for 2 nights with my daughter and Grandson. Everything was just perfect. Spotlessly clean with comfy beds and lovely crisp bed sheets. Breakfast was amazing with everything you could wish for and more. Nice roomy shower with lovely hot water. Will definitely be back.

Super location, short walk to the unique shops and eateries of Newport which is an area which is so beautiful for so many reasons. Isobel was very welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Fantastic accommodation, luxurious! The decor in the Garden Room is very pleasing to the eye. Great nightβs sleep in comfortable bed. Lots of little touches that make the property look an feel amazing and immaculately clean. Can absolutely recommend staying ππ

We had a one night stay here and absolutely loved it! The garden room had everything you could need, was beautifully decorated with a brilliant shower and freeview TV. We slept fantastically and were blown away by the breakfast hamper, they even got oat milk in for us on request. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Beautiful and charming B&B, very comfortable and homely. A lot of care and attention has gone into the decor, the shower was fantastic and supplied with gorgeous smelling organic toiletries. Each morning Isobel would deliver delicious breakfast hamper , fresh fruit, cereal, bread. Planning to return next year.

Just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay with my partner at Grove Park. The garden room is decorated beautifully but is also extremely functional and practical ensuring a comfortable stay.We received a very warm welcome from Isobel on arrival and upon entering the room we were greeted with freshly baked Welsh cakes (touches like this are what sets Grove Park apart from other places to stay) I really cant stress enough how well the garden room is decorated and the quality of fixtures and fittings (it would not look out of place in an interior design magazine) everything within the room is of the highest quality and you really do feel you are staying somewhere specialThe continental breakfast is well worth paying for and was delivered by Isobel every morning at a time to suit. The breakfast is delivered in a beautiful wooden box emblazoned with the words Good Morning & Bore Da (Welsh for good morning!) and contained beautiful warm croissants, a loaf of freshly baked local bread, jams, granola, milk, fruit juice, yoghurt and fruit salad. Isobel also offered to make us bacon sandwiches etc.. but the continental breakfast was so good we stuck with it for our entire stay!We used Grove Park as a base for a few days walking and for this purpose it was perfect. As there are no cooking facilities within the room it would not be suitable for persons wishing to self cater, but with all the fantastic easting establishments in Newport there are plenty of options for eating out (The Golden Lion Pub & Restaurant is highly recommended)I can pinpoint 2 x pieces of great customer service that sums Grove Park up for me, the first was when Isobel realised that it was my partners birthday during our stay, and we returned to a lovely gift of a bottle of wine from Isobel and her family. The second was after returning from a long days walking in the mountains above Newport, we received a knock on the door from Isobel and were greeted with freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream - This really made our day!!!I cannot recommend Grove Park highly enough and we will certainly be returning again and will be recommending it to our family and friends.
