Stunning setting on the waters edge. We just stayed for one night but the suite is very well equipped with a mini fridge/kitchen area, living space, dining table, modern bathroom. Jeni made us feel very welcome and provided a very generous selection of snacks/beers and things for breakfast (couldn’t do normal breakfast due to coronavirus restrictions). Very short walk to 3 Chimneys restaurant.

Fantastic wee B & B with a brilliant host !!! Goes out her way to help you out. I had a slipped disc and only place park my coach was three chimneys and she came picked me up and took me to sliverdale its only a 8mins walk but with a slipper disc and all your bags that would have killed me. Breakfast was brilliant everything you could ask for nothing was a problem and cooked perfectly. Ham and cheese cossiant was to die for!!! The room was like a home from home everything u could think of needing!!! And a amazing welcome pack only thing its not retopped up everyday if your staying mutliple days. The pack of danishes were a brilliant touch they were unexpected but great!!. Mini fridge in your room access to loads of books dvds and super comfy bed! Very modern bathroom and a super lush stay! Highly preferred here to the three chimneys up the road..... cant recommend this place enough and cant wait to come stay again! Currently the best place ive ever stayed. Certainly should be charging more for the room than what she does! Amazing views from every window.

Stayed in the cottage which is good and allows flexibility and if you want to cook or prepare food you have that option as there is a small kitchen. Jeni left all the things needed for a continental breakfast. …

Had a wonderful stay at Silverdale, beautifully hosted by Jeni. Given its close proximity to the Three Chimneys it was the perfect place to stay. Room delightful and enjoyed the little “hotel” touches. Jeni was even kind enough to arrange a packed lunch for one of my days. Highly recommend!

We have been coming to Silverdale for over 10 years. Silverdale feels like a second home in a quiet and beautiful corner of Skye. From the doorstep we can see the Outer Hebrides and the Cuillins with wildlife all around.The cottage is warm and comfortable even in rough weather and is fournished beautifully with a major re-fit last yearJeni is at hand to offer updates on where to eat and what to do.

This was a wonderful place to stay. I was only booked for one night but wanted to stay longer. Great views in a wonderful part of Skye but also wonderful self-contained and really well-appointed double unit. This included a great bath which after a day's cycle was most welcome. Jeni, host, was also really good in providing food and hospitality. Of the five places I stayed on my visit to Skye this was the best.

Great! We stayed here following supper at the 3 Chimneys - it's a brief walk down the road. Jeni was wonderfully welcoming, and provided a rather fabulous cooked breakfast in the morning. The room (the garden room) was very well appointed, and we had a great time.
