Our granddaughter was starting at Canterbury Uni' and we picked a hotel having a free car park that was handy to travel the 6 miles into Canterbury with her luggage. …

Stayed here for one night after attending a wedding. Great location, clean room having no complaints until the next morning at breakfast.Restaurant was under staffed, tables not clean, continental area not stocked very well with cups bowls and plates. The service from one of the waiters was appalling. Very rude and I was made to feel as if I was in the wrong. Over hearing conversation with the people sat next to us revived the same attitude as what we experienced which was not very nice. Waited a long time for the breakfast to arrive to which one of our orders was not what we had asked for.

We stayed at Whitstable premier inn recently. We received great service, Considering how the staff seem to be so over run. The room was nice and clean although a little dated. I'd stay again if passing. Overall, staff are very friendly, service is great. rooms are nice and clean

The food offering is very limited and nowhere near as good as when it was available at the Beefeater. Also the breakfast has to be ordered at the moment and is not available as a help yourself option. …

I booked an accessable wet room, but was surprised to find it located a long way from the entrance, which made access difficult. Usually they are located close to the main reception area.  …

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years with my partner. i normally find the staff very nice and friendly, however this time i was taken aback by the lady on the desk- i think she was a manager(own clothes, long dark hair worn down and very loud) I was sat in reception waiting for a taxi - she was on the phone having a very loud conversation where she was running down the team, she seemed to be relishing in someone being sacked, who she claimed made her life hell. On top of this she was expressing how glad she was her manager is going to lose her job and that she will be overall manager. I should not have to hear this kind of conversation and she should not be having this type of conversation in open view of customers.i didn't get her name but she is a larger lady, wearing all black had long dark hair, smokes and very loud in her vocalisation.she made me uncomfortable and i wont use this hotel again.

First time stay at thus hotel, location was pretty good for the Town centre. We got a taxi there and back for a fiver ew as it was raining but you could walk it. Breakfast was good but very cold in the eating area bed was super comfy but room was too hot and unable to run it down although there was a fan.

Good location for visiting Whitstable town. The staff were friendly and helpful.Cooked and Continental breakfast excellent.Vending machine snacks & confectionery massively overpriced (£1.40 for a small packet of crisps).Room cleaning upon request was very poor (the waste bin was emptied but the bathroom & toilet were left untouched and dirty). The main roadside exterior totem sign for the hotel is not illuminated at night, accordingly the property is very easy to miss on first visit. The driveway to the Hotel car park is poorly lit. The hotel is behind a pub restaurant. Also other Premier Inn signage not working makes the area very dark, unwelcoming and potentially dangerous.Overall, like all motel chains, the Whitstable Premier Inn is fine for a couple of nights but lacks the atmosphere of the rival hotels priced at roughly the same 'rack rate' in the town centre.

Poor customer service, no information shared about the restaurant/ breakfast times, I had to ask. After discovering the dinner menu was so limited, it explains why I wasn't told anything! Lots of people complaining the following day. I booked the Premier Inn on the basis that it usually has a proper restaurant/ food offering for dinner, sadly not this time. After travelling for 3 hours, I was less than impressed that I had to go in search of somewhere to eat that actually had a variety of options on the menu.Breakfast was freshly cooked and the pastries were nice.

I stay in many premier inns throughout the country for business and leisure. I'm sorry to say that this one does not meet your usual standards. The beefeater joined was closed? But the cleanliness of the room was the main thing. We put up with it as the weekend was a special occasion and did not want to spoil it. See attached photos.
