Do not stay here. Not safe for single travelers as there is no secure separation from the down stairs. …

Booked this bed and breakfast. It's not really a bed and breakfast as there wasn't any breakfast and no staff. It's more a house that's been split into two rooms. Bathrooms aren't private.Clean and tidy.Good location, the pub next door has great food.

Was initially a little tricky to find but the host was helpful via text. Found the location and was a little concerned about the area. I finally made it inside and although on the surface looked OK, the bathroom was very poor standard of cleanliness, flakey paint, stained showr base, dirty toilet and broken plug in sink. MY main worry was I did not feel safe as a lone female traveller for work staying there. It had a shared entrance and the bathroom was separate to the bedroom lounge area. I felt super uneasy. I was there not even 30 mins and made arrangements to stay elsewhere. I text the host letting her know I had left as I didn't feel safe to which she replied 'OK thanks for letting me know you have checked out early, have a safe onward travel' real shame as initially the host had been very responsive and helpful via text.Overall I will not be returning here.

The rooms were clean and tidy. The bathroom could do with a bit of an update but water was hot and the shower was powerful. The beds were very comfy and the Aircon was a bonus. The English Breakfast was great. Ideal location for Ashton Gate Stadium, just a 10 min walk.

Nice dbl room, albeit on the sml side. Good on the whole, but a few minor niggles stopped me giving this 5 stars, being a few knocks and bumps around the room, shower grout and sealant needing attention, no plug for the sink, bulb in light missing. Bed was comfy, but walls v thin and heard the neighbouring guests on the loo! Breakfast at the steakhouse downstairs included in the price, and comprised full English, tea/coffee, cereal, fruit, juice and v nice, fresh pastries. On street parking, but permit was available for us to borrow during our stay. V convenient for us attending function at Ashton Gate Stadium. Overall a good find.

Both houses are the same, but we actually stayed next door in the Brunel Mews. The location of the place was very good abd so was everything else except when it came to privacy. The house was divided into two BnBs, one upstairs and one downstairs. The owners for some reason decided instead of putting one door at the top of the stairs, they'd put a lock on every door on that floor. Other than this it's an ok place to stay.

As a frequent traveler, it is my responsibility to let the fellow travelers know what to expect from this property as we all are connected in a way.Beaware and Take care.First time in the UK for my dearest husband suppose to be a good one. I’m certain anyone out there for the first time to any place would think the same too. It was all filled with lovely memories until the nightmare in Asheville Mews, Bristol. As usual, we roamed around the city upon arrival and reached to this place that we booked on 16th Jan 2023. The outlook was good in a decent residential community and nearer to the supermarkets & other commercial outlets. Everything seemed to be good until the issues popped up and owner’s attitude kicked in.. here is the detailed story. We booked the place for three of us including our sister.1. Neither the owner nor any responsible person was available at the place to receive us or at least to handover the keys. The keys were misplaced. Had to contact the owner who never picked up the calls but was responding to the messages. After waiting on the street outside the property for more than 30min in the freezing cold weather, we finally figured out the keys were left into a wrong key holder (safe box). What a warm welcome!2. Stepped inside and honestly nothing to complain about the cleanliness. It was cozy but freezing cold inside too. The heaters inside the room did not work for a long time after waiting for nearly 30mins, informed the owner who is still responsive only via messages, assured that she will inform ‘someone’ to switch it on. Heard the foot steps of two guys coming from the upstairs to switch it on who also told us it will work soon. It got fixed after waiting for an hour and half in that freezing weather.Thank you!Oh wait, it’s not over yet!3. The shower water was never warm. It was either extremely hot or iced cold. Tried rotating the knob every degree but only in vain. We have no other way than informing the owner. Unfortunately it was never fixed until we left the place!!Kudos to your hospitality!4. Our booking was to include breakfast for three. So obviously our expectation was to have food for three whereas we found only four slices of bread, two yogurts, some fruits (pair of them each), some cornflakes, oats, granola, milk and juice in the fridge. Unfortunately their ‘continental breakfast’ doesn’t even include eggs. Raised an enquiry to the owner who did not respond initially but later got back to us saying that ‘the food is more than enough for 3’!!!!!!!!Wow! What a judgmental response.Adding up, she stated that she will have to watch the movie again as our messages were disturbing her ‘Movie time’.Right!!! We would have not disturbed you if you have kept the place in order to accommodate the people who paid for it!She was enjoying a movie while we paid enough to get a worst hospitality and her attitude as a cherry on the cake! Oh dear.I understand money is important to every one of us but please do not get into a hospitality industry if you cannot be hospitable, kind or professional enough. The stay in Bristol was a disaster and a nightmare because of the the wrong place that we chose. As a human, how would you feel if the same had happened to you!

We stayed her for 1 night in August. Pleasant rooms, comfy bed, tidy, good shower.Breakfast was good, nice range of things to eat.On street parking between 9am-5pm requires a permit which I believe is available from staff.Close enough to get into town by bus or walk.Definitely will stay here again when we come back to visit.
