The Lawns Tea Room B&B is a relaxing and a lovely place to stay. Lovely room and a great full English cooked breakfast. Simon is a great host and the little village of Ashcott is a great place to be based if you want to go to Taunton, Bridgewater or Street where Clark’s Shopping village is.

Very nice quiet bed and breakfast.We'll address the elephant in the room, yes it used to be a care home and there's no disguising that. But don't let that put you off.It's extremely clean and tidy, rooms are cosy enough and functional.The area is very quiet, but check opening ti es of local pubs for food, as some don't open early in the week, so you may travel a bit for food.The breakfast is excellent and the hospitality from the owner is excellent.If you're looking for a nice quiet b&b in this area, you won't be disappointed.

Returning on a trip from up country and wanting to visit the local nature reserves in the area The Lawns Tea room and B&B is ideally situated within a couple miles of them. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner, Booked our breakfast which was lovely and cooked for our required time. Room was clean and everything we needed was provided. Super comfy beds, tea/coffee in the room and nice and quiet at night. Highly recommend if your intending to visit RSPB Ham Wall as you can get an early start. Will be booking again in the future.

The B&B Place was clean breakfast was nice and the people were lovely the only things that I marked this place down on is that there was only one white sugar all the rest were brown plus the kettle doesnt fit in the sink to fill. When I came back there was no where to park so I left my car not in a parking space. But I would stay here again as I think that these point are minor.

Simon is a great host and nothing was too much trouble. Bedroom and en suite clean, roomy and comfortable.||Breakfast excellent. We were cooked an evening meal which also was excellent. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

So disappointed upset and frustrated my parents booking for last weekend at lawns was not fulfilled. Booking made in advance with email confirmation to prove however booking system had somehow gone wrong and parents made to feel it was their mistake although had email to confirm their booking. Eventually owner acknowledged it was his mistake although could not / did not rectify or find accommodation to overcome his error of which led to parents unable to attend a family celebration of which caused distress and upset to us all. Whole situation not dealt with professionally or decently leading to an email being sent on Sunday and to date no acknowledgement! Bad service and will not recommend at all.Such a shame with family living Close by it could of been ideal and a regular booking however this has totally put us off!Check your bookings is my advice so you don’t get let down last min when there is no other accommodation around and get very upset like we did!!

Had the best stay ..excellent owner very down to earth and welcoming.. room was lovely ..clean ..really spacious.. excellent facilities in the room .. beautiful hot shower .. scrumptious breakfast .. beautiful views ..would definitely stay again
