We stayed at Croscombe Camping this weekend for an event and had a great time. Emma the host was really friendly and welcoming and the site itself has gorgeous views. There are 3 toilets and 3 showers which were kept clean during our stay. This campsite is a great location with lots of cool places to explore nearby. Would recommend and also return to this campsite!

Shepherds HutStayed overnight is this gorgeous shepherds hut. The hut was very clean and set in a beautiful location, tucked away for great privacy and looking over the surrounding area. The toilet and shower facilities were very good as well, very clean and well set up. Just the tonic we needed.Highly recommended!

Perfect site for a really peaceful camping experience. Lovely views of Glastonbury Tor and nice pub nearby. Really liked the security of having the nice family there permanently and they were friendly and helpful. Owner was lovely. Really recommend this place

Wow, this is a hidden GEM !! Words can't express this place, the view is Incredible. We watched the meteor shower last night with the most gorgeous hilltop clearsky view. The showers are hot and amazing !! They have a really rustic feel to them, as they are made into a wood enclosure. Don't let that put you off though !! The best campsite showers I've ever seen.If you want the whole rustic experience, the gorgeous views but also want a Hot Shower, And a comfortable toilet. Look no further !! Transport links are via a small hike and then a bus goes to everywhere you could want to go. Failing that we reached most of the surrounding areas for between 10 & 15 pounds in a taxi, including Glastobury, Wookey Hole & Shepton MalletAnd the owners are so accomadating and really went out of there way to look after us. Even one day giving us a lift back up the hill. Lovely people, lovely campsite, this really is a secret treasure. Visit and I promise you won't be dissappinted and you'll kind of want to keep it a secret like us. If everyone knew this was here it would be at capacity everytime there was any astroanomical event in the South.If you read to this point . . . . . Just book it and go, what are you waiting for the best back to nature, home away from home.Can't express to the nomadic community, this is definatley one to check out for a week or two maybe longer 🙏 We will be returning next year for a longer stay. It really has got everythinf you could want whislt still retaining that earth connected feel.
