We've recently had another lovely stay at The White Horse. The room was immaculate, cosy and peaceful, and had everything I could have needed during my stay. …

Staying in a lovely cottage nearby, 4 friends had dinner at the White Horse on a Saturday evening. We were extremely disappointed.  …

It is a super place to stay in the heart of Exmoor. The room we stayed in was spacious, warm, and very comfortable indeed. We ate in the restaurant on each of the four nights that we stayed. Evening meals were superb and very well presented; breakfasts were also very good, with lots of choice. The service provided by Vincent and Linda(the proprietor) was excellent. We will certainly book to stay again.

If this is the best we can do to showcase British Hospitality in a largely tourist area then I can easily see why pubs and restaurants are closing down at an alarming rate. …

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Evening meal in the restaurant was exceptionally good, both food and service. Staff friendly, helpful and very attentive. Cosy place to stay in the winter, warm and friendly.

A lovely, traditional hotel in the heart of a beautiful village. Been coming to the area for many years and it never disappoints. Stayed just one night in a single room which was clean and tidy, warm and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was excellent

Beautiful pub, beautiful location. Beer was good too. But £19 for two pints, apple juice (Lidl’s for £3.95 is just greedy) and three bags of crisps is why fewer families visit English pubs. I’d have had two rounds if the prices were reasonable and they’d have made more profit. Be sensible pubs!

We only used the Inn for evening eating. We were staying in another hotel. The menu was what we wanted and better prices. Hence why we went back 5 evenings. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Well done, and thank you.

Went here with my family of four on our one vacation of the year, for a quick and easy meal. Unfortunately, the menu in the bar is lacking with little variety, and the chicken was bit pink. Apart from that the service was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our first visit but we will be back.|The evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast.|Great step off on way home from a beach holiday in North Devon.|The waiter was fantastic we didn’t get his name but well worth a mention. At breakfast he was so busy but always greeted us with a warm smile.
