What I initially dislike is that the passport has to be kept as a deposit and unfortunately not in a safe or something similar but in a rolling container next to the reception. However, you can also deposit 2,000 baht as an alternative, but then you will not be able to rent a scooter.The scooters that can be rented there are in poor condition, they were the worst scooters I have experienced in 5.5 months in Southeast Asia!One evening a family dinner was advertised as an all-you-can-eat buffet with chicken wings. When the wings arrived a sign was put up “only 3 per person”. That's absolutely fine, but I expect this to be communicated due to transparency and customer friendliness. Afterwards there were still chicken nuggets, for which there was no limit in number, but I still found the communication to be improved.

Feels like a military base with so many strict rules and high costs.0) you have to pay for filling up the bottle!1) You can't drink in the hostel unless you buy from them2) You have to leave your passport or a 2000 baht deposit3) 5 path that leads to the hostel is very uneven, with rough rocks4) The light in the bed is not enough for reading. I asked for extra book light, and they didn't have it.5) fines for everything is so expensive, so don't lose the key, the towel, etc.6) The locker under the bed is not safe. Breaks open with a push.7) The staff is always on the phone8) booking tours, eating authentic restaurant, buying feul, etc with them is about 30% more expensive than outside.

The room was quite okay, but there was no curtain, so there was not much privacy. The location was quite okay, the staff were friendly and the service was very good.

The staff are on their phones too much. Should be prohibited during working hours, just like it is in many other places in the world. Serve rudely

It’s kind of in the middle of no where so you have to rent bikes, the place is very pretty but we went in heat wave and they still didn’t turn the aircon on so you simply could not sit in the room as it was hotter than the 32° outside. The aircon thing is a real real issue and we have found all blancos do this. We had cockroaches in our room and flies everywhere which was foul, they said they would switch us after the first night but even having to stay for one night in a room with bugs is not good

Comfortable beds and a lovely staff, organizing activities every night. A social hostel with a great pool and common areas. The drinks at the bar was a bit expensive but that’s not a biggie. Unfortunately we got some bugs in our bathroom. But could definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a social hostel here at koh lanta!

Amazing party hostel, great for socialising. The hostel team organises activities every night. There is a pool with a nice view over the palm tree. You can see some beautiful sunset from there. The beach is 2 min away. The food is tasty, and the prices are fair (when you consider that there are not many options around and you need a motorbike to reach them). I highly recommend it!

It's close to the beach.You can quickly meet new people.There are activities every day.The pool is really good if you don't feel like going to the sea and need to cool off.Scooters are also available for rent.The beds have no curtains and the bathrooms are a bit musty.

We had two nights at Blanco Lanta in mid feb. Overall a very good experience, and we are considering coming back. The staff arranges daily activities, including å buffet + open bar and bar quiz in the evenings. The only thing I can point out is that the bathroom, which was shared with 7 other people was very dirty at times, without going into too much detail. We reported this, but unfortunately it took some time before it was washed. They are also very helpful in booking transportation to your next destination!

I didn't stay here, but made a visit and had a nice few hours in the ambiance there. Beer was double the price than normal so didn't order any. But I ate a fried rice.

The location is great, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean (everyone remembers to take off their shoes) and the sanitation is good. The ambience is very nice and invites you to relax on the premises. Highly recommended.

Super chilled and cool hostel. Staff/owner are very friendly and diverse activities are offered. It is close to the beach and bars/restaurants but the place itself is quite nice and relaxed. Would totally recommend it!
