Good place to stay for the night but was not worth the price that they offered. Maybe due to it being a last minute booking. Lovely grey cat greeted us with a lovely song. They have their own pool. I’d stay there again if I had more time

We were here for three weeks even though we were only supposed to stay for one week. Good rooms, good swimming pool, good location (if you don't need the sea right next to it, it takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach), really friendly staff!At the pool bar and restaurant, you can get drinks and snacks, from breakfast to Thai dishes and from snacks to shakes.On a sunny day, it's nice to drink a cold drink at the edge of the pool or even while sitting in the pool and enjoying the summer!Definitely coming again! Thank you!

Perfect stay! This hotel has everything you need. I originally booked 6 days and stayed almost 2 weeks. It is ran by the most lovely family who clearly take a lot of care and pride in the place. They are welcoming and always willing to help. They also have 2 very friendly cats which I loved seeing each day. Facilities are great - clean pool, sun beds, air con, nice food and drinks, plus the communal areas were great for me to work from on my laptop. The beach is only 5 min walk away with lots of lovely bars and cafes. You can also rent a scooter here, free water tea and coffee in the room, and get laundry done - everything you need 😊 I am sad to leave! Thank you for a wonderful stay, I felt very much at home as a solo traveler

Loved our stay here. The family who run the hotel are all really lovely. We rented a scooter for 3 days off them at a reasonable price and felt really comfortable with them around this. Excellent value for money overall. Pool is so clean. Surrounded by lots of nice and well reviewed restaraunts within walking distance and easy walk across the road to long beach to catch some beautiful sunsets! Would definitely come back and stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very kind, accomodating and nice to talk to. They have well maintained and clean spacious pool and bar next to the pool, playing music throughout the day which adds to the atmosphere. Beds were quite hard, which was a nice change from soft beds at other places stayed before. Very affordable and good value for your money.

Enjoyed our time at the hotel! The staff was super friendly and helped us plan trips, making our stay even better. Leaving was a bit sad because their kindness and support made it a fantastic experience. Totally recommend it!

We returned to Morakot after checking out the South of Koh Lanta.It’s a family run resort and we feel at home here! Unlike in other places, here you don’t feel like just a number… The management makes sure all your needs will be met.Location is great, away from the usual crowds, just next to the rainforest with lovely views of the hillside. Birds singing… no noisy neighbours. Pool is big and clean. Food is great and the prices are fair.Room service staff is one of the best I’ve seen during my travels!What else can I say…, we definitely will return here in the future.

Me and my boyfriend spent nearly two months at Morakot and we'd be happy to do it again! Our room was modest but clean and spacious, with plenty of natural light. The bed was large and hard (in my book, perfect), and the water pressure was good. Our windows faced the jungle so we had complete privacy and we also felt very close to nature. The swimming pool was huge and the only noise we would hear was the sounds of the jungle. We had a few minor issues but the lovely staff was always quick to address them. We'd absolutely recommend staying here, especially if you want to work from the coworking space nearby.

Great value for money. Pool area is lovely. Staff are keen to help. WiFi is good. Only downside is the mattress was very hard, but you'll get used to that in Thailand. Great location for long beach and lots of restaurants.
