We had the large bungalow with a sea view. The view from bed in the morning was indescribable. You have complete peace and quiet here. We really liked it. The beaches are all on the other side of the island. We had a scooter so it wasn't an issue for us and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. 5 minutes down the street is the old town where you can have a great breakfast.

Our favourite stay during a month in Thailand!If you are considering booking, I highly recommend I Talay.We viewed the room the day before booking and decided to book 6 nights. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the shower and AC both worked well.Our favourite part of our stay was the amazing team of staff. They brought us fresh fruit on several occasions. We contacted the hotel after a power outage on one night, and they were on the phone with an electrician and had the problem fixed within minutes (despite it being very late). It is evident that I Talay is very well maintained and that the experience of guests is highly valued.This is the perfect location if you want to be close to Old Town while still having peace and quiet. Scenic drive to the best beaches on the island. The staff will help find you a scooter / taxi if you want to explore other areas.We will be booking again on our next trip.

Never in my numerous stays in Thailand have I entered a cleaner room than here at I Talay. Absolutely perfect! The room is quite large, as is the bathroom.The complex stands on stilts, the tide comes in twice a day and you can listen to the waves beneath the bungalow.The beds are quite hard, so if you don't like that, you might not sleep well.I don't see this as a negative point and therefore I have nothing to complain about at all.The owners/managers are also very friendly and accommodating.What also really surprised me was something I would never have expected here: the path from the street to the complex is illuminated by motion-controlled LED street lights! Absolutely awesome 😁👍🏼

Really enjoyed my one night stay. It was short and sweet and I could have stayed longer. I Talay is a well located bungalow style hotel. Room was spacious, clean and cool. Service was good and they called me a taxi the next day. Old Town Lanta and restaurants a short walk away.

The rooms are quiet and the atmosphere is very good. Once you stay, you'll love it. Will go to stay again this month. Uncle and aunt were very kind.
