Would leave 0 stars if I could. BED BUGS AND DIRTY +++. Only 1 working shower between 20+ guests. HORRIBLE, AVOID AVOID AVOID.Originally booked Escape Divers hostel but Hostelworld overbooked. We were slummed into blue indigo as an alternative. Immediately terrible impression, owner did not give a toss and chucked us into a dingy side alley away from the main hostel. Towels stank like they hadn't been washed in weeks, bed sheets stank, ill fitting and visibly dirty stains. Mattress less comfortable than the floor with upside of bedbugs too. Cheap, but definitely not worth it at all.

I had a great experience staying at Blue Gelato, the family was very kind during the whole stay. Always clean, good breakfast and AC works perfect in the room. If I come back to Koh Tao will be to this place.

The worst really the worst hostel I have ever been. No ac the dorms smell. The mattresses hard. Only one night thank God and hopefully never again.

For me a top hotel in this price range.I tried other hotels on Koh Tao and this one is for me the cleanest, spacious, comfortable and quiet that I could findClose to the port, diving schools and restaurants or other shops, the family who runs the hotel is adorable and accommodatingOver long periods it is possible to have a more advantageous rateI highly recommend it

The whole place was very dirty, bathrooms were awful and sides and under the beds were full of dust, food and other bits. It was quiet though, beds were fine so I slept well and the air con was cold. Fine for one or two nights

Wow! The owners are the kindest people we met in Koh Tao. Our other accommodation had no air con and so half our group went on a mission to find new accommodation in the middle of the night. They were welcomed by the lovely lady owner and stayed the night. Next day the rest of our party came to stay. The hosts were so accommodating , allowing us to check in early and leave our bags after we departed. Another amazing wow of kindness was the owners allowing us to take a shower long AFTER check out before our long night boat ride. The rooms are very pleasant and cool. Super relaxed vibe, very clean and pleasant, great location. Also a W*** shop inside if you’re into that ;) would defo recommend.

I'm So happy to was in this place my first 3 nights! Of course, the best is the service with the owner and his mate! He gives me her guitar to play in the beach without any problem, and the snorkel mask. Fore surer really good vibes! Thanks🫶

The location for the pier is really good as it’s under a 5 minute walk; but overall the hostel is really unorganized. The 10 bed dorm door would not even close let alone lock at night.
All blankets and floors were also sticky
