We had a wonderful night at the Bangsrai Cottage and were given an incredibly warm welcome by the two hosts. The entire area is in the mangroves, which you can admire from your own terrace! We had an excellent breakfast!! What made our stay particularly great, however, was the hospitality and helpfulness of the hosts. They advised us on any questions and actions, gave us the local prices for trips and helped us in our greatest need. They even drove us to the ferry themselves for a more than fair price.I would recommend everyone to visit this place and have this amazing experience themselves 🥰

Avoid, the people who run this hotel are thieves, they will sell you services at exorbitant prices without asking your opinion. They did not want to give us back our passports until we had paid them for these services in question.Very bad bedding, springs that fit into your body.Especially to be avoided, especially if you don't have a car because the first restaurant is 11km away.Breakfast is only served from 8 a.m., no exceptions made, only 2 mini bananas, a small packet of biscuits and a carton of milk as compensation.

Sao and Roger were extremely generous hosts, always going the extra mile with a smile on their faces.The rooms are kept neat and very clean with all the amenities you need (AC, fridge, etc.). We had the privilege of a riverview room which was stunning, overlooking the river with its lush flora and many animals.The services provided were fantastic, an excellent breakfast, access to the pool, and organizing trips. I can highly recommend the boattrip through the local nature. Although the resort is outside of the town, Sao/Roger organized transfers at any time to a very reasonable price.We had a fantastic stay and would stay at Bangsrai Cottage again - thank you Sao & Roger

Dirty establishment, floating debris in the mangroves. Service absent. Neighboring abandonment and closure.To flee.To respond to the owner, we went there with 3 people on December 28 at 3 p.m. No presence at the reception which seemed abandoned.We passed all the bungalows via the walkways and the swimming pool.The place must have been good, but it isn't now.I repeat no one present and no one answers the phone.Sorry, we were unable to appear on your customer list given the state of the premises.If you have an explanation I am more than willing to reconsider my opinion.

The hosts are so lovely and accommodating! Willing to help make travel arrangements, give advice on unique areas, and show you around town! The hotel is definitely out of town and the local “Uber” (Grab) does not come pick you up there (but will take you back from town). Rooms were nice with beautiful river view and good AC. The hosts made us a delicious breakfast in the morning and drove us to the pier. I would recommend for a quick stopover but not long stays.

This cottage is one of the best surprises we had during our trip in Thailand. Sao and Roger are the best hosts, they took us to a boat trip in the river, showed us the night market, and prepared hearty breakfast with fruits from their garden. We feel a genuine warmth and care from them during our stay here. Their attention to details is nothing that a hotel/resort can compare with. And the sunrise/sunset hours in this jungle is truly tranquil and magical. Thank you for your hospitality and would recommend it to everyone!

This resort is run by a very sweet couple who take care of their guests with love. The area is beautiful and quiet. The view from the beautiful rooms is also very beautiful. They are very helpful and the food is also very tasty. It's a distance away but they will take you everywhere for a minimal fee. We are now traveling through for the 2nd time in 1 holiday. A really great stay

Sao & Roger are one of the best hosts I’ve ever had!I’ve been traveling around the world for 4 years now. My three nights stay at Sao and Roger’s Bangsrai Cottage was definitely a new highlight!They are extremely generous and will do their best to take care of you.It’s kinda a mini village of little bungalows - which are very clean and cozy.If you look for a place for a stopover or if you look to simply enjoy quiet nature - look no further!10 out of 10!

If you are looking for a quiet vacation, closed to nature, this is where you should stay. The cottage is by the canal with nipa palm forest along the sides. Most of my time spent at the balcony, breath in the fresh air, listening to the birds and read the book and enjoy the greenery. The owners, K.Sao and K.Roger, are so kind and look after us and make sure that our stay is comfortable.

Amazing place! Really recommend!! I loved here so much! This is a place where simplicity can look stylish and cool! Rooms are constructed in a modern urban style with concrete walls of varied colors in each room accompanied by rustic decor and specially fashionably aged furniture with matching colors. We stayed in a golden room. Inside a bathroom there is new plumbing and all necessary toiletries for your stay. Mosquito nets over beds provide a baby like sleep. The area around is really tranquil and scenic with river flowing nearby and picturesque water bushes which hide colorful water hens. There is a swimming pool to relax too. Breakfast was very nicely organized. I can see that the owner a friendly smiling Thai lady put all her heart into it. The owners are so helpful and friendly! They prepared a homemade banana bread from real little Thai bananas and also backed some healthy cookies as a gift to give for a good road. They were very friendly explaining about timetable of ferries and narrating about Thai islands and local life. They also recommended to visit a great restaurant nearby with the best Thai food I’ve ever tried in Thailand. Check my another review about this restaurant.

Location is terrible , must have car , not suitable for your children , no guard rails on balcony ( into deep river ) or on walkway to reception and rooms , again deep drop off , no choice for breakfast , sausage , egg and salad , no Thai food , no restaurant on site , small prefeb pool ; nothing special , owners were very nice , pity rooms do not live up to booking.com description

The owner's are very friendly and made us feel very comfortable, helped us with everything we needed, they even came with us at a night market and explained us some of the food there. They were very kind people.Place a bit far from town but they are more then happy to take u or u can take uber,tuck tuck.
