The rooms are nice and clean, the bed is comfortable and the view from the property is breathtaking. We had a very nice time at Dragon Hut Resort. A scooter is necessary, but in our opinion you can reach the most beautiful spots in 10 to a maximum of 20 minutes.I would particularly like to emphasize the kindness and generosity of the owner family. We had a small accident with the scooter and they all helped us straight away when we got back. The daughter even drove us to the emergency room and waited until we were ready. I have rarely met such kind-hearted people! One can only be happy to have such empathetic and helpful owners and their little paradise.We would go there again and again.Many thanks to the family 🙏🏻

We stayed here for a week at the end of August. It's a little remote, but it went very well with a rented scooter. The friendliness of the family deserves special mention. They fulfill all wishes. We recovered very well here, it was a very pleasant week. The small, quiet beach is within walking distance, and Salad Beach, where there are several restaurants, is 10 minutes further.

It has nothing at all about the resort. A two-star pension, nothing more. Concrete bungalow with old aluminum frames. The ground is steep and they have made concrete flows and steps. No seaside setting.. …

Warm welcome from the family who runs the establishment, good advice from them. Spacious and clean room. Relaxing and bucolic setting close to a small beach. Plan to travel by scooter or taxi as the location is a little out of the way (follow the managers' recommendations for scooter rental)

A little far from everything, but there are scooters on siteThe beach is really close, but you need a pair of shoes because there is lots of dead coral. The rooms are clean, with a beautiful view of the sunset and the owners are very kind. The bedding is very good except the pillows which are too big.

The place has great potential. However, the place is perceived as messy and poorly maintained.Was appalled by the road to the beach and a broken toilet left under the restaurant, empty beer cans and trash in general.The staff seemed very nice and were curious to improve the place.

Nothing like the pictures. There is trash all over the area and an old toilet placed under the restaurant. Rooms are old and not renovated for a long time. The beach is very dirty and difficult to reach. Kitchen is a big mess and we would never order food from there.Nice staff but a very old and dirty place.We moved from the hotel on the first day of arrival.

Very beautiful view. Tranquility. Friendly managing family. Good value for money in July. The only downsides: you must have a scooter and the private beach does not allow you to enter the water because there are too many stones. But with the scooter this is not a problem.

Excellent customer service. They sent me a message days before my scheduled trip to ask what time will I be arriving. They were also very responsive and helpful to all my concerns.The room was comfortable. The bed was perfect! Had a restful sleep while I was there because it was quiet. The location is a bit off. Not close to any restaurants. There’s a convenience store at the corner before to go through the road heading to the resort.

The room itself was nice, wifi was pretty bad, the view is great, the beach nearby is not for bathing, its all rocks and stones and dirt which really disappointed me.location is a problem, theres literally nothing on a walking distance. Very secluded, barely saw a person.The owner family is very nice.Dont think ill recommend for solo travellers.

Booked a bungalow at the beach side and enjoyed it very much. The place is a bit off and rather quite (what i liked) - but Salad Beach is close if you look for restaurants and bars. The food from Dragon Hut and from a nearby restaurant (recommended) is good as well.My bungalow has been in a good condition, the whole place is.The people running that place are emtremely pleasant and helpful.

Dragon huts are located on the beautiful west coast of Phangan. Unfortunately far away from everything else. If you look for a place to be fully on your own, dragon huts is great. The beach near by is empty as well. Not best for swimming as the riff is very close to for snorkeling there are better beaches near by as well.We needed to switch rooms during our stay and got no help for this. Would’ve been something small to move our luggage to the new room I think. Owners are very gentle but also not super helpful if needed.The rooms are standard bungalows, what is fine. Unfortunately we only had 2 sockets in the room, what made charging a bit of a hazzle.If the flat would be 500 bath cheaper the night I would give 4-5 stars but for the price the rooms, service and location are not enough.

In terms of the view and the friendliness of the host family, the Dragon Hut Resort is one of our most beautiful accommodations in Southeast Asia so far (and we know a lot of them). We had booked a superior bungalow and stayed in bungalow number 2. This is very spacious and nicely furnished. The beds seemed very comfortable at first, but became too hard over time. When I asked for a topper for the mattress and came back to the room from shopping, all three ladies in the family were busy putting on not just one (high quality) topper, but two toppers. The guest is the focus. And you notice that again and again. For example, if you are walking from the supermarket and someone drives past on a moped, they will immediately stop you and give you a ride without further ado. The whole family (mother, father, 2 daughters) are warm-hearted hosts. Taxi rides are even offered, which are very reasonably priced. When one of the daughters drove us to our next resort after checkout, she even took us to a viewpoint.The resort offers spectacular sea and sunset views. We were able to enjoy the sunset directly from our balcony or from the restaurant. The resort offers the best WIFI we had during our entire trip on the island. There are around 15 bungalows in total. Thank you for the great time! :-)

Clean bungalows in a fairly remote ish location - walkable in around 20 mins to Haad Salad beach -steep hills. You need to hire a motorbike to get around. No laundry service on site but can walk to offsite laundry in around 12 mins. Recommend going to Lamduan Motorbike rental for excellent friendly service & do not demand that you leave your passport.
