Maafan hotel in Ramot, small shabby and minimal rooms. Reasonable pool. Full of mosquitoes and lizards on every balcony. Shower inside and in the toilets, there is no current in the shower, their only bright spot is the view of the sunset because it is located on the beach

I 100% recommend this hostel, it is very well located, they do not have their own pool but you can use the one at “la plage” which is right next door, the rooms are impeccable, clean, everything works very well! The restaurant is very delicious, they lend you Frisby, chess and other board games to pass the time!I would return many more times!

A maddening experience.. somewhat small and intimate rooms. There is a nice little balcony. About 10 steps to the pool and restaurant. About 15 steps into the sea. Amazing to see a sunset..

Small room, but great location and nice people at the front desk. I was also able to check in a few hours early.My only complaint is the size of the room, and the loud and annoying children who take over the pool during the day.

I recently faced a disappointing experience with this hotel. During a planned month-long stay which, due to unforeseen family emergencies, I was unable to complete. My booking was made at a rate of 18k THB per month, and I had paid a deposit of 9k THB two weeks prior to my scheduled arrival. However, circumstances required me to return home early.Aware of the hotel's no-refund policy, I proposed a reasonable compromise: to use the 9k THB already paid for a one-week stay instead of a month. Considering the weekly rate is 5k THB, this would have meant I was paying nearly double the weekly rate without requesting any refund. Unfortunately, the hotel staff were unaccommodating, insisting that I pay the remaining 9k THB to use the accommodation for any length of time, even though I would not be staying the full month.The response from the hotel staff was not only inflexible but also unfriendly. They offered no viable solutions and suggested that I find someone to take over the booking in my name—a challenging task from abroad. This experience has been my worst in Thailand, a place known for its hospitality. It's disheartening when life's unexpected turns are met with such rigidity, especially from a service that could have afforded some level of understanding and flexibility.

The resort is located on a beautiful quiet beach. We were only there for breakfast and were then allowed to use the covered bean bags on the beach. The service was very polite. Price performance is really great here.

The reception is staffed first-class: the guests are looked after in an outstanding, committed and wonderful manner. The resort complex itself offers everything you need for a nice stay; This includes, in particular, the section of beach that is easy to use at low tide and the pool. The rooms are modest and even too expensive compared to the surrounding area. The real disaster is the integrated restoration: NOTHING tastes good. That's not a bad idea, it's simply the truth. Something really needs to be changed there; this would significantly improve the experience at the resort. There are great shopping opportunities within walking distance and restaurants a few meters away. However, a scooter is recommended, IF you know how to use it; because the road conditions are - almost everywhere - like a war zone and that is extremely dangerous!; Welcome to Koh Phangan.

Excellent welcome, breakfasts, meals and cocktails are excellent value for money. The rooms are clean and the staff is attentive. The view and outdoor spaces are very peaceful and pleasant.

Excellent stay, what more could you ask for for the price. The setting is magnificent with a swimming pool overlooking the sea, the gardens are well maintained and the rooms are clean. The hotel's restaurant bar is very affordable and practical. However, the rooms in the bungalows are very poorly insulated so it is easy to hear the noise outside.
