The hotel is not 5 star category. Although the rooms are nice, the services and facilities are not worthy of 5 stars. Breakfast has very few options and there is no air conditioning in the restaurant. The pool is beautiful and the view incredible. It is not a hotel to be quiet, as it is full of children. You lack activities to do.

A very quiet place, with all the services, good food and incredible views. If I don't give them a 5, it's not because of them, hundreds of plastic and glass bottles arrive on the beaches that it's a shame that no one takes care of removing them.

Modern and beautiful hotel...several pools and top service...the hotel's beach is clean compared to the others outside its area...Zen atmosphere, large spaces with grass...very happy with the selection

Even though it is a 5-star hotel, the facilities are poor. However, it was quiet and right in front of the sea, so it was perfect for relaxation. The surrounding massage shops are very disappointing.

Sea facing room spectacular. The suset superb. Enjoyed walk on the beach and kiosk on the beach. Takes a bit of time to get into the island. The hotel is bit isolated with nothing much outside the resort. The bin bags by the beach great for book reading. Their swimming pools lovely.

The position is very good, the best of the island. The resort is a disaster, absolutely not worth the cost. Low quality service, totally missing during the day (if you stay at the pool or beach and need something, there is no one to ask). The breakfast is a nightmare (few food choices, not enough tables and cutlery, 30' queue for coffee and eggs). We've been here in February, the cost was very high, it has been a disappointment. We will not come back.

Great, clean hotel. Some restaurants around the corner, very good together and chon thong. Massage and scooter built opposite the hotel exit are recommended. The rooms with pool access are totally awesome.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed it! The room was nice and big and clean. In general the hotel complex was nice and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious. And the beach right next to the hotel is a dream.We would be happy to come back for a longer stay!

It's a beautiful hotel right by the sea on a very quiet island. Price-performance is good. There were always enough loungers. I can't understand the negative reviews. We would have liked to stay here longer.

Since we still had a day without booking a hotel, we decided on this great beach and booked the Royal with pool access. Price 115€ is okay for the service offered on the small island in the high season 👍Of course cheaper is even better 🤷♂️The rooms are very good. Maybe a little musty since it's on the ground floor. Beds comfortable. Pool access is a pleasure in the heat. Large pool with slide for children. Unfortunately no shaded areas. Breakfast was great. Tiptop. Everything your heart desires is available. Very high quality breakfast. The Elixir can get some ideas from there...We would book this hotel again. The beach is the best beach on Koh Yao Yai. There is a good infrastructure here. Great. We also checked out the Blue Bay. Disaster. Doesn't work at all...
