Great rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Extra breakfast cost (3000¥ per day) I thought was excessive, so I didn't choose this option. Be aware Tokyo has a stay tax of 200¥ per night.Very close to Tokyo Government building for free high level views. A bit of a walk to Shinjuku, but ok if you have a level of fitness. Pic attached has The Knot centered in frame.

Very close to Shinju station (Tokyo), this hotel is great. There is a “bakery” with good breads and sandwiches.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience at The Knot. Check in was a bit disjointed however the staff are friendly and helpful. The bar and cafe in the lobby are great and the restaurant upstairs is also lovely. However, I stayed in a single room and do not recommend this for anyone. The single rooms are positioned on the ground floor. My room was directly across from the laundry facilities, and the ground floor is also frequented by housekeeping staff as this is where they store things. There is also a smokers room that would get quite rowdy late at night. It was incredibly noisy and felt like I was staying in a backpackers! The walls are also paper thin. I was travelling with friends who stayed in a deluxe room on the fifth floor and did not experience the same issues as me so perhaps only book those rooms if you’re considering a stay here

We had stayed at The Knot Tokyo Shinjuku during 9/29/24-10/1/24 and it was a great stay with exceptional service for our first time in Japan. The location was close to the train station and a family mart which was very useful to traveling to other parts of Tokyo and late night snacks. What I really wanted to highlight was the above and beyond services of Sho-San and Alexander-San at the front desk. I had lost my phone earlier in the day on the train and they had worked deligently to help me contact several lost and found train stations as well as submit an online claim. Sho-san worked tirelessly the first day making several calls but no luck. Alexander-san had helped me the second day and even created a spreadsheet noting along which stations have been contacted with what information. Eventually the phone was found as Narita airport (2 and a half hours away) and Alexander-san was able to provide me a confirmation phone to help me collect my phone from the lost and found.Thank you both so much for all your help along the way. The trip would not have been the same without all your hard work and dedicated service. We really appreciate everything you have done, thank you thank you!!We stayed at The Knot Tokyo Shinjuku from September 29th '24 to October 1st '24 and it was our first time in Japan and it was a great stay with great service. The location was close to the station and Family Mart, making it very convenient for traveling to other areas of Tokyo and for late night snacks. What I really wanted to highlight was the above and beyond service from Mr. Sho and Mr. Alexander at the front desk. I lost my cell phone on the train earlier in the day and they were eager to help me contact several lost and found stations and file a claim online. Sho worked tirelessly on the first day, making several phone calls, but to no avail. Alexander helped me out on the second day and even created a spreadsheet of what information was communicated to which stations. Eventually, the call turned out to be Narita Airport (2.5 hours away) and Alexander provided a confirmation call to help me retrieve my phone from Lost and Found.Thank you to both of you for your help along the way. Totally disappointing experience. We have been staying at The Knot for 5 nights in a superior double room, or so we thought before arriving. Our surprise upon entering is that it could only be called that in the country of Lilliput. We have never been in a room so small. We had to choose between the suitcases or us. We had to stack them on top of each other to get in and out of bed. We tried to explain to the front desk workers that there was no way that matchbox could be called a “Superior Double” and we asked for a larger room.Their answer was that they had one 3 meters longer, but we had to pay more than a hundred euros extra each night. The guy from the travel agency with whom we contracted the hotel called several times to try to solve the problem, but they didn't listen to him either. At reception they always told us that they had not received any calls, which is false. The room only had three outlets and one of them was broken. We asked to change the room for another one of the same price, but what a surprise, the hotel was already full. The solution to the plug problem was to leave us a charger (on the third day), with a note saying to leave it in the room when we left, and so we did. When we went down to check out, the guy at the reception asked us for the charger, we explained what was in the note, but they didn't let us complete the check out until they verified that we had left the charger. They made us feel like criminals. We will never return to a hotel of this chain.
