Jirocho Shimizu's regular lodging. The building is attractive and gives you a sense of the times. It is difficult that the toilet is small. The bath is amazing!

My impressions are similar to those of other posters, in a good sense. ①It's old, but the facilities are good. It can be seen as a hobby. ② The staff at the hotel were extremely polite. Recommended if you are in the business price range.

It's nice hereIf you look at the photos, you'll understand that it hasn't been renovated in 50 years.It's old but in good condition. Yes, it's old but in good condition.It was a summer day when it was probably 38 degrees Celsius in Tokyo and 33 degrees Celsius in Fuji City.When I entered the inn, it was hot and there were fans running in the hallway.And when I entered the room, it was cold! It's freezing cold!And there's a communal toilet with the words "Western style" written on the door, but there's also a Japanese style toilet, and it even has a washlet!The bath is also nice. It gets hot in the middle of summer, and I quickly go inside and go back to the cool room. You should buy a can of beer.It's probably delicious.Since I had made a same-day reservation, I stayed overnight without meals, but since it was a proper inn, I decided to stay overnight with half board included next time.Nice people, nice atmosphere ← That's all there is to it

About two months ago, I went on a trip to Tokyo with a college classmate and came to Shizuoka to see and appreciate Mt. Fuji in person. I booked here because I wanted to experience traditional Japanese culture and stay in a traditional lodging!It was so good. The room was clean and the mattress was so soft that it felt like I was sleeping in a bed even though I was sleeping on the ground. And you can even see Mount Fuji out the window!Also, the owner is very friendly, so we made good memories. Oh, and as a side note, there was a mini shrine on the road behind this ryokan, which was amazing..!

A long-established inn in Yoshiwarajuku.I stayed here with half board included.Despite the reasonable price, the food is delicious and the service is excellent.The building is a little old, but I think it's a nice place with a nice atmosphere.
