I thought this would be a satisfying option for those who don't want to stay in a capsule or dormitory and want to stay in a regular place, but don't want to spend tens of thousands of yen per person per night. The room is spacious and the cost performance is good. There are cheaper options for dormitories and capsule hotels. However, I was able to sleep and get ready without feeling pressured more than usual, I was able to take a hot spring in Hakone even though there is no open-air bath (the water is acidic and lukewarm), and the breakfast was good enough for the cost performance. They served us a lot of white rice (I was satisfied with the amount of white rice I had), and although it felt old and low-class, I was glad I stayed here.China? The staff were kind. Everyone was smiling and had a good impression. It was comfortable and had air conditioning. Also, there are no convenience stores within walking distance, so I recommend finishing your dinner early before staying.

It was the first time I came to Hakone with my friends. We wanted to enjoy a comfortable night, but the smell of mold in the tatami room we booked was very strong. We didn't sleep all night, not at all!In addition, breakfast here ends at 8 o'clock, but it was not stated on the reservation form. We came for dinner after 8 o'clock, but we missed breakfast. The boss said that this is the case here, and the attitude is very bad!In the end, the boss wanted to refund 1,000 yen as compensation, but we confiscated it, which is disgusting behavior. If you want to book a hot spring hotel, it's not worth coming here. It's in the middle of the scenic spot, it's not very convenient to travel, and the hot spring experience is average. The first trip to Hakone with friends, planned to enjoy a comfortable night, the result of the reservation of tatami room mold, very strong smell, we did not sleep for the whole night, did not sleep at all because of the bad smell! What's worse, breakfast here ends at 8am, but it is not stated on the reservation, we come to eat at eight o'clock, but we miss breakfast! The attitude here is very bad!In the end, the boss wanted to return 1,000 yen as compensation, but we confiscated it, which was disgusting behavior. If you want to book a hot spring hotel, it is not worth coming here, as this hotel is located in the middle of all views, the trip is not very convenient, and the feeling of the hot spring is also very general.

It was so good. The owner was friendly and the location was great as it was just a short distance from the bus. It was a nice day so I could even see Mt. Fuji.

We stayed 5 nights, we are 3 so we took a futon room for 3, supposedly with a garden and mountain view. There is no mountain view from that room 🤪The room is in front of an intersection with a traffic light, so kind of noisy in the evening and early morning. It's an expensive area but it's a bit pricey (23kyen/night) for a room with no bathroom and just 2 chairs for 3. Only the tv with Chromecast was nice to have! The shared onsen was not busy, it was rather dated, basic and small but clean and functional.

You get a nice view of Mt. Fuji and nice clean rooms. The onsen is functional, but there is no view and it can get pretty cramped during peak times, since the rooms don't have any showers or baths.
