Nigorigo Hot Springs Yumotokan

The quality of the spring water is fresh and of the highest quality, as it uses the blessings of Mt. Ontake that gush continuously.Hot springs with iron reducing properties and a slightly green color are a sign of freshness☺️Also, if you go to an open-air bath, you will be surrounded by a virgin forest, which is really great! ️It's open 24 hours a day, and there aren't many customers, so it's great that you often have the best hot springs to yourself😃All dishes are prepared by the landlady.There are a lot of items, and the dish is made by the proprietress, so it has a gentle seasoning that makes it very relaxing😌Sesame tofu is exquisite 😋I think the breakfast is definitely luxurious compared to other places.The general is also very pleasant and provides very good hospitality ☺️However, the owner and landlady are already quite old😭There are also restrictions on business days.In particular, the general has gotten older this time. . . However, I was surprised to see that the scenery around the waterfall had changed completely.I would definitely like to go again.4th time: 2019/4Since my first visit two years ago, I have visited every six months...This is my fourth visit.No matter how many times I come here, it always makes me feel amazing.I really like the quality of the spring water. This is truly irresistible because you can enjoy it without heating or adding water, and with the water flowing directly from the source.The appearance of the hot springs is slightly different each time.The iron is not oxidized and still looks green, but this time it is more cloudy than last time and the iron smell is better.This time there was a lot of snow left at Nigorikawa Onsen. According to the owner, there hasn't been much snow this winter, and it had stopped snowing last week, but it fell heavily two or three days ago.However, for me, it was very relaxing to be able to enjoy the snowy bath.The open-air bath was unbelievably cold until I entered it, but the temperature was just right and I felt like I could soak in the cold winter air for a long time.In fact, once I entered, I felt like I couldn't get out (lol)It seemed like we were the only guests this time, so we had the bath for ourselves.The luxury of having this hot spring to myself was truly the best experience.I always feel that the best time is when I soak alone in a hot spring filled with the best source, feel the cool mountain air, listen to the sounds of nature, and empty my head.Here, you can bathe in the hot springs 24 hours a day, so even if there are other guests, the bathing times are staggered, and I think it's really nice that you have time to soak in the hot springs by yourself.The rice is always delicious and there is a wide variety of items.No matter when I come, I can't eat anymore (lol)No matter how many times I eat Hoba Miso for breakfast, it's still delicious (lol)This time as well, we received a warm welcome as usual.Every time I go, I think about when I should go next (lol)I will definitely visit again.3rd time: 2018/9This is my third visit.No matter how many times I come here, it always makes me feel amazing.I really like this bathroom.I really like the quality of the spring water.Also, this is my third visit, and the appearance of the hot springs is slightly different each time, which makes me realize that the hot springs are natural and are being used as they are.The iron is not oxidized and still looks green, but this time the clarity was higher than usual and the cloudiness was more noticeable than usual.The open-air bath is not elaborately built, but it matches the pure nature in front of you and is very soothing. Also, it's relatively deep, so when you sit down, it feels really nice to be soaked up to your shoulders.It's great that you can adjust the water temperature to your preference and take a long bath.I could see the starry sky for just a moment at night.It was truly luxurious to see the beautiful starry sky as I turned off the lights and slowly soaked in the finest hot water in the pure darkness of nature.The indoor bath is always hot, but this time it was a little too hot for me.The rice is always delicious and there is a wide variety of items.No matter when I come, I can't eat anymore (lol)This time, a typhoon came in the middle of the week I visited, and it seems that the power was out at Nigorikawa Onsen.It seems that it was restored early in the morning on the day of my visit. I think it was difficult.Meanwhile, I received a pleasant reply asking me to come even if I contacted them in advance.In fact, when I visited there, I was treated with no inconvenience, and I thought it was a wonderful inn.Perhaps due to the current power outage, there was no cell phone signal.Although I felt that it was extremely inconvenient, I also realized that there are some people out there who are extremely dependent on their cell phones.I certainly felt inconvenienced and worried about not being able to get information quickly.I'm here at an inn with a hidden hot spring.On the contrary, I felt that it was a good digital detox.I will definitely go again.2nd time: 2018/4I used it half a year ago, but I can't forget the impression I had at that time and have come back again.This time I visited in early April, when there was still some snow left and I might be able to enjoy a snowy bath.Due to the cold wave, it snowed quite a lot. There was a slight snowstorm on the way back.Due to this, we were the only guests staying.Because of the situation, the hot spring was reserved for the family to use.It was truly a luxury to be able to have exclusive use of this unsterilized hot spring that is of the highest quality and has no added heat or heat.It was also very nice to be able to enjoy the snowy bath as I had hoped.However, the bath is truly wonderful.Even though it contains iron, the fact that it is not yellow or brown is proof that it is still ferrous iron and that it maintains its reducing properties.This is because Yumotokan is the closest to the source.You can enjoy truly fresh hot water in its natural setting.I think it's the best situation.And the food is really delicious.This time I chose a reasonable plan, but personally I thought the standard plan would be a better value.It was my second timeOnce again, this is a truly wonderful stay.Even though it is an inn in the mountains and has a feeling of being a secret hot spring.The inside of the restaurant is clean and the quality of the food is really great.This is an inn that will make you feel what a truly luxurious time is.I will definitely go again.First time: 2017/9I used it for my 10th wedding anniversary trip.I wanted to go to a hot spring anyway, so I was looking for an inn where you can take a bath 24 hours a day, mainly in Gero Onsen, and I found this inn that was highly rated.Even though it's in the same city as Gero, it's 90 minutes away from Gero Onsen (lol)However, this Nigorikawa Onsen was truly a secret hot spring.I stayed there on a Saturday, and there weren't many people, and the environment was really quiet.I came there to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and it was a relaxing hot spring town that fit perfectly.Now, about the most important thing, Yumotokan, it was a wonderful inn that lived up to the reviews.In particular, the customer service was so heart-warming that I felt it was a shame that I could only give it 5 stars.Perhaps because we were bringing a small child with us, they made sure to make us feel at ease, and I realized that this is the kind of hospitality I look for in a hot spring hotel.It was truly amazing.As others have said, the food for dinner and breakfast was perfect in both quality and quantity, and everything was really delicious with good seasoning. However, the problem is that you end up eating too much. (lol)The hot springs are also the closest to the town-run hot springs, so the iron content is not oxidized and feels very fresh, and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy the hot springs directly from the source without adding water or heating.When we stayed there, the hot springs looked green, and we took a bath several times, and the clarity changed each time, giving us the feeling that the hot springs were truly in their natural state.Also, although it was almost full, the baths were open 24 hours a day, so most of the times I bathed there were reserved for private use, which was really nice.When I took a bath late at night, I was alone in the open-air bath, looking at the starry sky, and the time and space enveloped in silence and darkness was the ultimate luxury.It's a truly wonderful inn in everything from customer service to food to hot springs. If I kept writing like this, I would end up writing more than the character limit, so I'll just leave it here (lol).If I had to pick a bad point, it would be that I already want to visit again (lol)Although I won't be coming back soon, this is definitely an inn I'd like to visit again.
