I was on a touring trip following Golden Week, and I have been working with you since August 12th. This time, I ordered grilled bear meat for dinner ✌️ I thought it would be rich with a lot of fat, but the fat was delicious and not sticky, and of course there was no unpleasant animal smell at all. 👍It goes very well with beer and rice, and I'm very satisfied.😁I visited on the third day of my touring trip, and by the time I arrived at Shiozawa Sanso, I had traveled over 1,000km in total, so I arrived exhausted and had a delicious meal. The drinks and food, the fun conversations with the other guests and the husband and landlady of the mountain hut, and the quietness of the night helped me sleep very well and get rid of my fatigue ☺️Next time, I would like to go on a maple foliage tour in the fall. . At that time, I will definitely stay at Shiozawa Sanso ✌️ By the way, you can eat bear meat, wild boar meat, venison meat, and monkey meat for 1,500 yen per plate, so I think you can enjoy wild game at a very reasonable price 👍 A hidden gem that I definitely recommend. It's like a hostel😉

You can see Mt. Ontake from the window, and the scenery is good. For dinner, the appetizers may look plain, but they are made with wild vegetables and are truly delicious. I feel like I can eat Belgian craft beer forever. I had three eggs for breakfast, and they were delicious, but they didn't fill me up a bit.Satisfaction rating is 5 stars, but one of the guests staying on the same day had a baby with her, and she was woken up by crying and other noises, so she couldn't get a good night's sleep. Since the structure of the building makes the sound very loud, such customers should probably be turned away.

I made a reservation the day before and stayed here. It's mid-March, but the altitude is high and it snows, so you'll need a stud dress. The friendly sign dog happened to be off-leash and came to greet us at the car. I stayed with half board, but since there are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, it would be better to go with half board. It was a comfortable night with the warm hospitality of the owners. Even the futon is warm after the kerosene stove is turned off. Free WIFI available. Within docomo range. Out of au range. SB unknown.

I've been repeating it for about 10 years. What is surprising is that the owner is responsible for most of the work, from preparation to construction.Try adding boar meat to your dishes. It has no odor and is very delicious. The freshly laid egg fried rice for breakfast is also the best! The dogs are also very friendly.

I used it before when I was traveling alone. At the time, it was deep in the mountains and it was foggy, so I got lost and my phone signal was hard to get through, so my check-in was delayed for about an hour. However, the owner welcomed us warmly, and for dinner we had wild vegetable dishes and tori-chan (a grilled dish of chicken, cabbage, garlic (?), etc., and sauce).Apparently, chicken is a local dish.It was my first time to eat it, but the sauce was good and it was delicious. Also, on that day, there were only about 3 groups of customers including myself, and everyone was friendly, so we were able to chat freely while eating dinner. They also serve wild game, bear meat, wild boar meat, and the rare monkey meat (!), which really caught my attention. (It can only be eaten in areas designated as pests.)The soundproofing in the room was pretty good, so I couldn't hear any noise from the next room (there were other guests). However, the bathroom is separate, so you need to be careful where you step when the weather is not good.Although you have to cross mountains and valleys to reach this guesthouse, I would like to go there again.

The owner is the best.Since it is located deep in the mountains, we recommend checking in by 4:00 pm.The surrounding area is deep in the mountains and it's dark, so it's scary to drive around, and the bath is outside the cottage, so it's dangerous, so it's a place where you can come in during the daylight hours and relax. The food is extremely delicious, with the owner's carefully selected wild vegetables and grilled chicken. There were many types of alcohol, and the Belgian beer was very delicious. It is a quiet inn with excellent soundproofing.I'm an elderly shopkeeper, but please take care of yourself. As a side note, you can meet two Mino Shiba Inu dogs, a female and a male, which are irresistible for dog lovers. You can even go for a walk if you ask.
