It has been a great success to find this place on our trip to Japan. Tomo is an excellent host and despite staying only one night we were able to feel at home. In the evening he took us to dinner at a very good and affordable restaurant.The next morning he guided us to bathe in the river. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer because I'm sure we could have enjoyed a lot of activities with Tomo in nature.Don't miss this wonderful place.

When choosing a hostel, we did not arrive with expectations.To our surprise, from the first moment the owner made us feel like a VIPI won't go into too much detail, so you don't get your hopes up.But we were treated to a particularly pampering hospitality.Lovely place, very authentic.This is his home and he is a wonderful host.Note - this is one star - sleep on a futon, shared room - paper walls.Special recommendations: bathing in a magical river, near a famous bridge (ask the host)Dinner at an authentic restaurant (the only one in town) you should order the set menu - traditional food of the area - the owner of the restaurant is also a fisherman, so the fish is fresh and delicious.

We landed here because of our desire to stay in the Mino area of the Gifu prefecture. Our host Tomo was gracious and hospitable, opening his home to us where we immediately felt at home because of his love of the outdoors, kayaking, hiking and skiing. We learned so much from him. We wanted to visit ceramics studios, museums, galleries. We had arranged for a driver and it was a perfect base for a day in Tajimi and a morning in Mino. We also discovered Warabi to be the heart of the region’s historical washi paper industry, which means lanterns, wall paper, shoji doors and more. If you like the countryside, forest, rivers and generally green environments you will be more than happy and content here. Be sure and ask for Tomo’s local restaurant recommendations because we enjoyed excellent meals.

Thank you for your help!The owner's thoughtfulness in creating the accommodation was felt everywhere, and it was very comfortable.I went there with friends from abroad, and it was perfect for experiencing the Japanese countryside and old folk houses!I would like to come in any season.Of course for people who enjoy the outdoors! Even if you don't, it's a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle!!The owner's hospitality and smile are also wonderful 😊It's a little far away, but I'd like to visit you again.

Ike-san the host was great! Take him up on the local onsen visit. It was luxurious, clean, beautiful and inexpensive. I actually can't believe such a glamorous magical Onsen exists out there in the countryside. At 750 yen per person for the whole visit it blew my mind.

2022.9This is a guest house in Mino city. There are plenty of activities such as SUP, and the owner who loves nature and stories will warmly welcome you!I made a reservation at the last minute, but I was able to stay with peace of mind because they informed me in detail about local traffic conditions and recommended restaurants.It's a little far from the city center, so if you're going by public transportation, you should check the access carefully.The location is great because you can spend a relaxing time while feeling nature 😊I stayed alone, but since you'll be staying in a house, I think it would be more enjoyable if multiple people stayed together like a private lodging.
