tucked nicely away in a more residential area of ikebukuro this spacious studio apartment was the best accommodation i stayed in while in Japan!very friendly service as well. when i was having issues with the wifi not connecting, i messaged the guy on booking.com and was resolved right away.very cozy and felt very safe for a self service accommodation - exactly what i needed when staying by myself for the first time in another country.

The accommodation is self-service and no one needs to enter the password to enter the room. In May, I made a reservation through Booking until the moment before check-in. "No check-in message was received." I only received a string of PIN codes in the email of successful booking and it was WrongI arrived at 5pm on the day of check-in on 7/26 and found that the password was wrong and I could not enter it. I tried to contact the owner through Booking, but the message function of the app was not available at all and the owner only left an email and a Japanese phone number. At that time, I could only send the email first. Waited for about an hour but no replyI was stuck outside the accommodation and had no idea what to do. I contacted the owner through a friend in Japan and finally got a reply (the friend said that it took a lot of calls to get through). The owner said on the phone that he had sent the check-in information through Booking messages. The function was given to me but I didn’t see any message when I entered the App or the web version of the website. So I continued to wait at the door and exchanged calls with my friends. After making many phone calls, I finally confirmed the password and entered the accommodation. The owner said that they had provided me with check-in information through Booking messages, but I did not receive it at all. They also asked friends to help me transfer my check-in information. I sent the mail to the owner in the hope that he would email me the check-in information, but I received no result. It was not until the second night of my stay that I received no message. I finally contacted the owner through the line link I got when I contacted the owner on the phone from a friend. Owner side!(Yes, I didn’t receive any information the second night after I checked in. We asked for help from friends to contact the owner. During this period, the owner didn’t reply to my email at all, nor did he send me an email with check-in information)Later, we Googled ourselves and found out about the booking information. Since March this year, many people on the Internet have reported that the message function is abnormal and cannot be used. I guess it may be that the message function is simply broken and cannot be used. Since there have been many people reporting that the message function is abnormal since March, why are the owners still there? Only use this message to contact me? If I don’t receive a reply, do you treat it as if you don’t know about it?Overall, I felt that this booking experience was very poor! Not only did the owner not confirm whether the guest had received important check-in information, he assumed that the guest must have received your so-called "booking message". He also did not require the guest to reply to you after confirming receipt. It was not until the day of check-in that the guest was stuck outside the accommodation and unable to enter. We couldn't get in touch with anyone? If we hadn't had friends living in Japan who could help make phone calls, we wouldn't have been able to get into the accommodation and the owner wouldn't have cared at all? Even though we collected the money, they didn't even provide the most basic accommodation guarantee. If you can't provide it, please ask the owner to review it. Otherwise, tourists like us who travel to the local area have no Japanese mobile phone number to contact you and e-mail. If you don't get a reply, I really don't know what to do. I hope you can. Improve this problem to prevent this situation from happening again in the future!

The room is clean, the sofa, mattress, sheets and pillows are all hotel-level equipment. It has a kitchenette, a washing machine, and a clothes drying rack. It is located in the center of Otsuka, with convenient transportation and is suitable for short-term stays of multiple days. Friends who need accommodation suggest that this is a very suitable location. Like Like. 😊😊👍👍

The room is very comfortable and clean, and the surrounding functions are very convenient. It is not far from Sunshine City, Otsuka Station, and the most popular places in Higashi Ikebukuro. It is only a ten-minute walk away.
