We were there for 3 weeks in August 2024. So if you stay for a few days everything looks good. But after 7 days you realize how crappy it is. Air conditioning drips on because no one has ever cleaned the installation. All plastic. Carpet cleaning twice a month when Ma 5 can't be in the room turns out to be vacuuming. Garbage is too small. Everything doesn't really work, the design is stuck in the 80s. And you get slippers even though they're still packed on the floor. In the end we had 15 pairs! We stayed in Kyoto for 2 days in a hotel that was cheaper, breakfast, pool, more modern rooms, free cocktails every day, etc... And then we saw how we had been deducted even though we had booked months in advance. Okay for 1-5 days, nothing more! I flew home very frustrated…. As a European, I recommend going to airport hotels etc. The difference in price isn't that big but you get more. Staff speaks poor English but is helpful. Dishes for the kitchen were taken from us on the fourth day and no new ones were given. Then the toilet is heated when it's 40 degrees outside. Cannot be switched off. Air conditioning above bed... Etc. there is so much but the ramen blows up…..

This is a clean and convenient hotel. I stayed here on a business trip to Tokyo University of Agriculture. Although it is a little farther than walking from Kyodo, there is a bus from Yoga to the University of Agriculture. There are several restaurants in the area that open from 7am, so you won't have any trouble finding breakfast. If there was a slight problem, it would be that the washer/dryer was displaying an error code. Operation was normal. Laundry detergent was provided in bottles. The mini kitchen had dish detergent and new sponges.

The rooms have a washing machine, cooking utensils, mini-fridge, and microwave, which seems like a good option for multiple nights. I can hear some noise around me, but it's not that bothersome. There are some things you don't have unless you buy amenities, so it's good to have those as well.

Before the coronavirus pandemic, I often used Tokyu Stay. The advantage is that there is a washing machine, so you don't have to change your clothes one more time. I actually wanted to stay in Shibuya, but the price was more than double what it was before the coronavirus outbreak, so I gave up and decided to stay here for the first time. Still, it was 16,000 yen for a room without meals. As mentioned in other people's comments, there was no explanation about the free drinks, so I couldn't use them either. I was told that there was a shaver in the amenities, but no aftershave lotion, so the shaver I opened was wasted.

Personally, I recommend this hotel over private lodging because of its cleanliness, security, kitchen, and drum-type washing machine.I was happy to be able to drink cocoa myself in the 1st floor lobby. This is a hotel where women can also stay with peace of mind.
