Used for day trips. The hot spring smells like iron even from the taps. It feels very comfortable and my skin feels moisturized. I'm a little hesitant to wash my hair with this, but it wasn't a problem 😊 My scalp smells like iron, but it's like a hot spring so it's not a problem. The open-air bath provides shampoo etc., but only cold water comes out of the faucet. I think it's probably like pouring water directly from a hot spring and letting it flow. Both the indoor and outdoor baths are small, but I think it might be good for couples.Until you enter the hot spring, you can play at the Takarabune Onsen Family Campsite, but the elderly people at the campsite will ask you to pay if you set foot there.I was warned. At the reception desk at the hot spring, I was told that there is no problem with dipping your feet in there, but it will cost 500 yen for both adults and children. If the management is the same, I would be happy if hot spring users could walk around for free. I don't think it's possible to make money from visiting Lake Biwa, but there's also cleaning and other maintenance to do, so it can't be helped. However, I wonder if the way you say it, ``I'll take your money,'' is something you would say to a hot spring customer.I've stayed there several times, and the food was delicious and I thought it was good, so it's a shame that it happened this time.

There is a photo of an open-air bath in the local free paper day-trip hot spring, but I think it would be a good idea to post a photo of the open-air bath if you only use the indoor bath for a day-trip.

You can choose between an open-air bath and an indoor bath at the reception.I chose the open-air bath, but I was surprised by the open-air bath I had never seen before! !It really felt like I was taking a bath by myself. However, it seems to be able to accept 4 people, so I think it would be difficult for 4 people due to the small space.By chance, there were tree frogs bathing together in the private bath.

I was led to a small bathroom one after another, so it was crowded and I couldn't get in slowly.

The indoor bath at the day-trip hot spring is 700 yen and is very small, only accommodating 2 or 3 adults. You can use the private open-air bath for 1,500 yen. It looked pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend it.

It's right in front of the campsite, so it's a great place to camp and take a bath in the hot springs. However, the day trip bath was only available in the indoor bath, and I was surprised at how small the bathroom was. It's quite tight for two adults.Four foreigners came in, and I felt like I couldn't take a bath, so I left early. There seems to be a private bath and sauna available, but based on the reviews, it doesn't seem to have high expectations.

It may not be enough for people who like sulfur-based hot water...Personally, I don't like sulfur springs, so I really liked it.
