Earlier this month, I used Marriott points for a girls trip. I don't want to say too much negative things since it's a point stay. Our room had a city view, so the neighbor's window was right in front of us, so if we left the curtains open, it would be difficult to relax because of the line of sight. Since the location is good, it can't be helped, but I should have asked if the windows were mirrored.During the turndown service, pajamas were provided for the bed, but the size was small, which was a problem. When my tall friend put on the bathrobe, she became smooth and smooth. It was late at night so I went straight to bed. When I asked when checking out, I was told that each room is automatically set to size Ⅼ (for men) and size M (for women). Nowadays, you can choose the size of yukata you like even if you go to a day-trip bath. I asked for a bathrobe size change (from M to L) in order to go to the SPA, but I was told over the phone that they didn't know if they had it in stock. There were many bathrobes piled up inside the SPA.The nail art of the person in charge of breakfast service was so long that it felt unsanitary. Furthermore, when I checked out, I asked for the restaurant payment details to be sent to me via email, but I have not received them yet.

Perfect,The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, beats any ritz, four seasons etc. It is perfect, the service, room, amenities, breakfast. Everything was done correctly, the staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel just like home. The room is so well designed, love the bathtub, the bedding and space by the window. The attention to detail is unmatched.Generous gifts every day, including cosmetic products. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of Kyoto yet it felt peaceful.Worth every single penny. You won’t be disappointed. If I had to choose a hotel to live in for the rest of my life, this would be it.

This hotel is absolutely superb. Genuinely 5 star. The service and staff make this a beautiful and unique destination. Our son is allergic to nuts. They asked if anyone had allergies on check in and we acknowledged this. They had us fill in a form which I thought was just protocol. Then for every meal thereafter they noted that for his meal there were no nuts. It was amazing and superb. Apart from this it’s honestly world class service. Yes the rooms could be a little colder as people have noted but the underground spa. The gym. The breakfast and the grounds are all utterly amazing. I cannot wait to come back here.
