Great accomodation in Sapporo, an apartment style room with plenty of space to spread out. Four bunks, so would be great for families. Toshi, the manager, is a great host, and very helpful. Great choice for Sapporo.

Used by 5 people on graduation tripIt was a very nice Airbnb-like environment. At check-in, they carefully told us about recommended shops and sightseeing spots, which was very helpful. Also, after eating Genghis Khan, my clothes smelled really bad, but thanks to the washing machine (complete with detergent) and drying in the bathroom, the smell disappeared the next day.thank you very much!

Very friendly and extremely helpful owner/manager. He helped us in finding a hospital as a member of our group was injured. Moreover, he drove us to the hospital, where he assisted us in communicating and interpreting with the hospital staff until late at night after which he drove us back to our accommodation. Upon check in, he too explains various places to explore in Sapporo and nearby foods. The place was clean and had everything we needed.

Very friendly and helpful owner, he helped us to locate our missing luggage bag which we left behind at the airport. The apt unit is also very cosy and nice, with complete kitchen and washing machine/dryer. It's within walking distance to many attractions. Lawson is just across the road. Highly recommended

The owner is kind and friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. Our family of four can sleep in four separate bunk beds without disturbing each other, and the beds are very comfortable. The small kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, cups and plates, and there is also a washing machine, so you can fully experience the essence of Japanese storage technology😁.The most amazing thing is that the bathroom has a drying design. After washing, the clothes can be hung in the bathroom to dry the next day. It is really considerate for travelers who need to wash clothes. The base Sapporo is a comfortable and considerate hotel, recommended to everyone.

Our family stayed here for four nights. The room is very spacious for Japan, and even better, there are enough beds. (Many Japanese ryokans only have 3 beds at most and are not suitable for a family with two small children.) The building is clean. Check-in was simple and clear. The location is a little far from the subway station, but still very convenient. There are supermarkets and famous ramen shops not far away. The city of Sapporo is not very big. If you have luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi. The price is actually acceptable. Walking is quite comfortable without luggage. When we checked out on the last day, we asked the owner for directions to the car rental company. When we approached the car rental company, we saw the owner of the house driving his car and waving to us in the opposite lane. It turned out that the route he gave us was wrong (we also discovered it ourselves), so we drove after him to make sure we didn't go the wrong way. Thank you very much for his dedication and enthusiasm. I recommend all travelers to Sapporo, especially families with more than two children, to choose The Base Sapporo.
