Although it is an old hotel, the renovated rooms are very good, and the buffet is good and thoughtful. The small drawback is that there are many bugs nearby at night, and they will run into the room, but the service staff will come in to deal with it. Very close to Shiraisu Falls.

I chose this hotel as the last accommodation of my Hokkaido trip during the September holidays. There are steep stairs in front of the hotel, which can be difficult to climb if you have a lot of luggage, but the staff helped us with our luggage. The twin room was a good size and we didn't have any problems. There is one men's bath and one women's bath in the public bath, and in the morning the baths are reversed for men and women. There is an indoor bath and an open-air bath, but since you can't get a great view from the open-air bath, I wondered if there was any point in having an open-air bath. The hot water was brown in color and had a good consistency. I was concerned that the shower booth was left out of order. The dinner buffet venue had been renovated and was very beautiful. The menu was very nice with a variety of delicious dishes. There were many dishes typical of Hokkaido, and the menu was clearly more sophisticated than the menu at a resort hotel I had stayed at the previous day, which immediately got me excited.Up until this point, I had been feeling very good and was glad that I had decided to come here, but after that, I was treated in an unbelievable way, and I suddenly felt sick. It's a buffet style, so you have to take down the dishes you've already eaten on the table because the space is limited and you can't bring in new dishes.I waited, but the staff didn't come to clean up, so I took the tray of food to an elderly female staff member who was cleaning up the seats of customers who had finished eating, and asked her, "Excuse me, could you please clean up too?" , with a very disgusted look on his face, he scolded me and said, ``Please don't put it there because it's another customer's seat!''For a moment, I don't understand why you're getting angry, what's going on in your head? ? ? To.Even though I say it was another customer's seat, I didn't put it on the seat where they were eating, nor did I put it on the seat that was clean after cleaning up. I just put it on the edge of my seat where I had left a mess of food while I was cleaning up.When I said, ``If you're going to say something like that, please come and clean up properly,'' and she retorted, ``I'll clean up in order!!'' His attitude was as if to tell me not to bring it here. Why do I have to get yelled at when the customers themselves go out of their way to clean up the things that should be cleaned up by the staff? There was a customer in front of me who brought a tray to this staff member, but he looked surprised when something was said to him and I wondered what was going on, but this didn't make sense to me. did.I think he was probably frustrated because there were so many customers during the holidays that he couldn't keep up with cleaning up, and he got angry when another customer asked him to clean up.When I immediately reported this to the manager of the restaurant, he apologized, but the person in question did not say anything.I was having a good time up until then, but this one thing ruined it.Since you are originally coming to stay at a hot spring hotel, it is natural for you as a guest to want to spend a relaxing and enjoyable time, and I think that the hotel responds with hospitality in order to respond to that, but this hotel was different.Far from providing hospitality, this harassment involves incomprehensible anger directed at innocent customers, which is exactly the kind of harassment from staff to customers.Even though the prices are high due to the holidays, why do I have to pay such a high price and have such a bad experience? In the end, the staff never came to clean up until the meal was finished. At breakfast the next morning, I thought things had gotten better since there was an incident from yesterday, but breakfast was still the same and they never came to clean up.I thought that this is a hotel that charges high prices but does not offer hospitality. This is the first time I've been to a hotel that treats guests so rudely.I regret choosing this kind of hotel at the end of my long trip to Hokkaido. Even remembering it now makes me angry.

A place where you can feel nature at its best. [Blue Pond] is also coming soon. [Bogakudai], where you can see the Tokachidake mountain range, is also a 5-minute drive away. The hotel is located in a wonderful location where you can clearly see the sea of clouds in Biei town in the early morning. The food is also a great buffet.

Will revisit in October 2024. I guess the facility is a little old. Unfortunately, the thin man at the front desk didn't have a smile on his face and was unfriendly and rude. The distance from the main building to the annex is too long and difficult to understand. It would be better to make a guide board. The restaurant has been renovated and the locally sourced food was delicious. The steak was delicious and had a second helping. The soft serve ice cream tastes like milk and is delicious and I'm glad I can eat it in the morning and evening. The cloudy hot springs warm you up well. The air conditioning in the room was centrally controlled and heated. After taking a bath, you sweat and get very hot. However, it was nice to have a fan in the room.Shirahige Falls is a must-see!!Blue Pond is also about a 5 minute drive, so it's a good base for sightseeing. There is a bridge behind the hotel and you can see Shirahige Falls from there. Recommended for a walk. Blue Pond is also nearby at 2.5 km. Stayed in a cottage. You can take your time, but it becomes a hassle to go to the hotel building for hot springs, meals, etc. I guess the dinner buffet is normal...

I used it in late September. The equipment is old.The dining venue has been renovated and had a very nice atmosphere.Although it was a buffet for dinner and breakfast, the menu was rich and satisfying in terms of quality and gave a feel of Hokkaido and Biei. The view from the hot springs wasn't great, but the quality of the hot springs was probably soothing.I would definitely like to use it again next time.

The equipment of the old hotel is relatively old, and the toilet circle is dirty and has not been cleaned, but the location is near the scenic spot
