The hot springs were very nice!Others had only shortcomings.I had a buffet style meal.Although the food was delicious, there were about 5 flies on the fruit, and there were a lot of flies flying around the food, making it uncomfortable.I had a bad feeling when I saw the flies on the food. There were no flies in the place where the chef served us food, so I could only eat the food there. The bed in the room looked comfortable in the photo, but when I saw it in person, it was just a cot and my back hurt. My sleep is uncomfortable and I get a headache in the morning. I couldn't rest. The chair in the room makes my body itch...I had high hopes for a living cafe, but the only snacks were bean sweets and one type of cookie. Is it OK to bring it in? When I asked him, he refused.I had high expectations because of the high ratings, but I was very disappointed.I won't go there again.

Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, but there were a lot of flies. It may be due to the timing, but it felt unsanitary. I couldn't eat the sweets because there were flies on them. There were no flies in the place where the food was made right in front of me, so I got it from there. Also, the bed in the room is simple and quite hard. I feel so tired when I sleep. The hot springs were good. I enjoyed the hot springs so much that I wanted to go again.I had high expectations after seeing the reviews, but the quality was quite disappointing.

It has a luxurious entrance and lounge that makes you think you are in the countryside. This time, I was a little worried because the management had changed, but first and foremost, the head chef's kaiseki course was surprisingly delicious. Kinki-ni-zuke has been served before, but this time it's in a mini hot pot format, where you can add mini ramen after eating the nikki-ni-zuke. Moreover, in the first half of the course...I was surprised because it was so unexpected, but even looking back on it, it was well-balanced, and I realized how avant-garde the head chef was.The rest is a shameThe rice is thin, yellowish and not tasty. I want to eat white, glossy rice at a ryokan! Is this the only hotel in Hokkaido that offers this quality?2024/10 revisitThe rice was still yellow, stiff and hard and not edible. However, I felt like my mouth would go crazy if I only had the heavily seasoned buffet side dishes, so I just ate the udon noodles. It seems like they can't even produce rice, so Ninfuyu graduates. Take a day trip to Kinkiyu or wait for Hoshino Resorts.

Are we relying too much on the quality of the hot springs in the region and are paying the dividends of being a feudal lord? It's no wonder that Batabata Hotel went bankrupt in an area with no business appetite.Although this hotel has been renovated and is in the high price range among Kawayu Onsen, it is not worth the price, and the staff probably think that the price per customer is about 5000 yen.The big negative point is- Short breakfast serving time. It starts at 6:45 and the food is ready by 8:30, so it's a rush. Also, the staff members end up telling her that it's a rule and preaching to her.-Low quality of staff service. Probably a part-time person? I think so. Not worth the price. I feel bad that someone like the manager is in charge of everything on behalf of this low-level staff.- Poor lounge. It has a nice atmosphere and a wide variety of drinks, but the only food I get is persimmon peas and cookies.- Hugs in the room. It's a strange structure with a large bed in the middle of a tatami room. I wanted to renovate it, but I guess I didn't have enough budget.・The women's open-air bath can be seen from the closed hotel next door. What was good was the seafood bowl in the morning. Fresher than Tsuruga at Lake Akan. Especially the salmon roe and scallops are delicious. As a side note, the ice cream after bathing is for some reason near the valuables locker.

It was a very beautiful hotel!Canned juices and other drinks were available as much as you could in the lounge. The best part was the buffet! The sushi was only about half the amount of regular sushi, so you could taste the fish to the fullest, and it was very delicious! It was a great hotel that I would love to go to again!

Seafood is recommended for meals. There were many items and all were delicious. Drinks are free in the living room, so you can have as many as you like (lol) The hot springs were lukewarm and just right for me. I liked that there were only a few rooms, so it was spacious and quiet. I only stayed for one night this time, but I wanted to stay for three days (lol)

Even if I only stayed for one night, I wouldn't choose this hotel again. When I looked at the photos on Rakuten, it seemed traditional yet relatively clean. However, after checking in and entering the room, I found that the bed frame could easily be moved, and the mattress was just a very thin layer. The room also felt unclean, making my skin itchy. The chair next to the bed seemed like it hadn't been cleaned for ten years...We tried asking the staff to upgrade to another room for an additional fee, but the mattress in the new room was still very thin...Fortunately, dinner was quite good. However, I will not consider this hotel again. I recommend everyone to carefully check reviews before making a reservation.

A highly recommended ryokan that ranks highly in Hokkaido. The foreign staff are polite and well-trained, and I think they are well-trained. You can enjoy soft drinks and alcohol in the lounge, and the food is just delicious. Both morning and night.Nowadays, it's not uncommon for hotels to serve salmon roe in the breakfast buffet (images 3 to 5), but I've never seen one that serves salmon roe of this quality. It wasn't a typical commercial item, but it came out of a proper cosmetic box. The taste is also quite good. The hot springs at Kinkiyu are also highly rated. I think the hot springs and food are on par with high-class hotels.
