It was a place I wanted to stop by as it was on the way to camp via Kusu Town. I stopped by to visit the hot springs. There is a modern Japanese-style building next to the pension-style building, and that is the reception (reception for drop-in baths, cottages, and campgrounds). When you purchase your bathing ticket, we will show you a map and tell you where the men's and women's baths are today. The path to the bathhouse is lined with plants and is well maintained. Hosta, kochia, autumn leaves, azalea? It was soothing to see that the path was lush with greenery all year round with ferns and other plants. The source of the spring is Moor Spring (contains organic matter from accumulated plants over the years), and the water is amber or coffee-colored (it was amber-colored on the day I visited), and it warmed me from the core of my body.I wanted something cold to eat after bathing, so I ordered a melon soda float at the reception. It came with cherries and the price was reasonable. It was also nice to eat it in the modern Japanese tatami room in front of the reception desk. I had a relaxing time and was healed. I would like to use the cottage and campsite in the future.

My first moor spring on my trip to Kumamoto and Oita's free-flowing hot springs. There was a space by the window where you could take a bath, but the sun was so strong that I couldn't sleep. But it felt good! There was also a family bath.

This is a campsite where you can enjoy hot springs.Although it doesn't offer a spectacular view, it is a place surrounded by nature. It might be good for people who like steel towers. The temperature of the hot springs is also good in the summer. It might be lukewarm in winter 💦This is a camp 🏕️ that I would like to visit next time.Electronic payment compatible

I used it for a day trip to the hot springs. The hot water was gentle and made my skin smooth. The location is a little secluded so you can relax. It seems that the baths are rotated every day. Please note that this facility also serves as a lodging facility, so good manners are of course required, such as not talking loudly in the aisles.Next time, I would like to stay overnight and use the family bath.
