The manager of Skyland is such a lovely man. Made a stay! Small but very clean and comfortable room (Western style) Breakfast and dinner is wonderful with lots of small interesting dishes. Wifi worked only some of the time.

Very nice hotel ! They were very welcoming. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. I deeply recommend to go in this hotel. The manager is very helpful and provides you further information about Shiga Kogen resort.|

This is a cozy hotel and extremely good service. Sato san is thoughtful for guests always. Delicious breakfast and dinner served. We are definitely coming again.

I stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days with 4 friends to use the ski resort.【service】We had to postpone our stay several times due to problems on our side, but each time we were treated with kindness, and I would like to express my gratitude. Also, although I arrived late on the first day, I was able to receive instructions on where to store my luggage, my room, etc. via a letter, which helped me stay overnight smoothly.[Rooms, facilities, etc.]The rooms are equipped with air purifiers, heating, and pods, and amenities such as toothbrushes and razors are provided free of charge, so I am generally satisfied.As for the bath, the washing area was large and the bathtub could accommodate about 4 people, so it wasn't too crowded and I was able to use it comfortably.【meal】Overall, there is a large selection of items, and for breakfast you can add salad, bread, yogurt, coffee, etc. with self-service, which is very nice. Personally, I would have been even happier if milk was provided.【whole】I think the employees are polite and the service is satisfactory. If I have a chance, I would like to use it again next time.

Anyway, it's a polite inn. Check-in at the front desk, food, and building were all satisfactory. First of all, the cleaning is very thorough and gives a feeling of cleanliness. Not only the shared washroom and toilet in the hallway, but also the washroom and bath in the room, and the entrance are all clean. When I think that you took the time to clean it, I can no longer get it dirty (^^;;The food is so elaborate that you won't be able to finish it all. I saw a post saying that it's not enough ❗️, but you can refill the rice and miso soup as much as you like. I deducted one star because the entrance is on a steep slope and I was afraid of slipping if there was snow. The staff members are also courteous.
