Came to Tsugaike alone for my snowboard instructor course. Enjoyed my stay in this cozy and quiet guesthouse, it is conveniently located under the "Bell slope", and only a 5 minute walk to the gondola on the other side of resort. The facility is clean and got everything I need especially the public bath and free washing machine which are essential for my long stay. Expect to meet the friendly Japanese family with their English speaking owner. You can choose to be served with homemade breakfast and dinner with variations everyday. Overall it is a good value for my long stay.

1. The inn is very close to lifts of Kane-no-naru-oka (鐘の鳴る丘) which is a good ski-in and ski-out location especially for beginners and families.2. Both rooms and bathrooms are clean.3. The futon is warm and comfortable.4. They provided coupons of rental shop and grocery store which visitors can get 10% off discount.5. They are more thoughtful than others inns we have stayed near ski resorts in many different ways.1) one more surge protector2) more clothes racks3) free tea bags4) chopsticks and cups5) mini refrigerator6) boiled water 24 hours served6. I did not feel good during the second day I stayed, and they supported a lot.7. It will be better if there is a heater out of bathroom, but the inn is still good in other ways.

I stayed here without meals for climbing Hakuba. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to the gondola.*You can't see it on Google Maps, but you can go straight to the gondola. There is a description that it is old, but even more than that, the cleaning was thorough and I was able to use it with peace of mind. Also, there were clear explanations of the drinks provided and other precautions, which were easy to understand. We prepared a rice ball set for our early morning hike. It was very delicious.Next time, I would like to not only stay overnight but also have meals included.

This is a family-run guesthouse. The facilities are old and lack a sense of hospitality, but they are well kept. Close to the bus stop and about 5 minutes from the gondola stop. There are also restaurants nearby that serve food and alcohol. There was also a liquor store nearby😊The bath is not a large public bath, nor is it reserved for private use, so I think it's best to take a bath early. The white rice for breakfast was really delicious.

This is a great value-for-money traditional Japanese B&B. It is a two-story building. The upper floor is mainly for guest rooms, and the ground floor is for the party room, kitchen and dining room. The rooms in the B&B do not have independent bathrooms, and living and dining are done in shared spaces. Even so, the hygiene and convenience are still very good, and there is no inconvenience or crowding. More than a dozen of us guests occupied six rooms for a total of five nights. What impressed us most during these five days was the chef's sincere breakfast and varied sumptuous dinner. Every dish was displayed on the spot. The material is delicious. In order to respond to the chef's wishes, we ate every meal without leaving any food. After a day of skiing, we took a hot bath and had a rich dinner with our physical and mental fatigue, and both our minds and bodies were restored. The B&B is located right below the ski resort. Just a few steps in front of the door is the ski resort. You can ski in ski out. The basement of the B&B also has a drying room and a ski equipment workshop, which can be said to have everything you need. Coupled with the very affordable stay price, I believe I will come back again if I have the opportunity.

Yamakyuso is definitely the most cozy ski resort hotel I have ever stayed inBoth breakfast and dinner provide prototype food. You can taste the original taste of the ingredients. The seasoning is moderate and light, and you can feel the care in every meal. (The little host is very cute and polite. He will go to the restaurant to greet the guests during dinner, which is very cute❤️)The house is antique, very simple and beautiful. I feel relaxed and happy while making coffee and looking at the view from the window. The rooms are also very bright and comfortable. The quality of the staff is very high. Whether it is food or daily life, they will take the initiative to care and ask if they need help. They are very gentle.I am very happy to stay here during the exam period. Every night I feel relaxed and comfortable, as warm as living in my own home. Thank you for taking care of me these days~~

I stayed here to participate in a trail running tournament. It was a night race, so I think it must have been difficult for those who were there to greet us, but we were able to spend time in comfort and peace of mind thanks to the thoughtful consideration we had for taking time to take a bath and other things.Personally, I like hot drinks, so I was happy to have hot water and drinks.
