We really enjoyed our stay at Pai residence.The rooms were sparkly clean and refreshed everyday. The hotel had a swimming pool and is based in a quiet and peaceful location.Close to a caf, night market and The Bear fight club Muay Thai boxing gym. The host is extremely helpful and friendly.I highly recommend Pai residence for a romantic get away.

The manager is very friendly and speaks English well.However, there was a very musty smell in the room, so it was very difficult to stay throughout my stay.The wooden furniture, doors, and beds seemed old and rotten due to moisture.If you are sensitive to cleanliness, it would be better to go somewhere else.

Fantastic location in the Old Town, we walked almost everywhere we needed to go from here. Its quiet and well maintained. The rooms are basic but functional and the beds were comfortable. The guy on the reception desk was extremely polite and professional. I would happily stay here again if I'm ever back in Chiang Mai. Just a heads up if you're arriving early like we did, you can't do early check in.

Great guesthouse. Hotel manager is incredibly friendly and helpful, and will give you loads of recommendations for things to do in the area. Also great location, just a few minutes walk to the Sunday night Market and the South Gate market, loads of delicious coffee shops and restaurants around. Make sure to try the chocolatier shop next door!

The hotel is located is a quiet residential area. There are some restaurants nearby and it’s it not too far from the main area of the city.
Only downside is that the people in the room above were too loud at night, but other than that, I had a good experience.

Great guesthouse/hotel. Young manager is super helpful and deserves a big credit. Bed is comfortable and large, cleaning staff also do an excellent job. Didnt use the pool but looks really clean. Easy to walk or rent a motorbike if you want to travel a little further. Lots of great food places close by too. Super peaceful but enough people around where you don't feel alone. Great little place.

They have a swimming pool. It is very good to swim after the hot trip.
The environment is quite and relax. You can sit on the bed to enjoy outside through the windows.

We could not be happier with this beautiful hotel and it’s staff. The rooms are very clean, beds extremely comfortable with daily room service upon request and fresh coffee and water provided. The housekeeper was lovely and you could see how hard of a worker she was! The pool is also well cared for and large. It’s a bit difficult to tan around the pool but there’s plenty of picnic tables that have turf next to them where you can lay a blanket or towel down to catch some sun. My partner and I both had scooter crashes and James at reception was so helpful! He really made the place feel like home always asking how we were and checking in on us and even giving us recommendations for where to go to get our bike fixed. We ended up extending our stay as we felt so comfortable and relaxed. The location is perfect as it’s close to some amazing restaurants and is just a five minute walk from the Sunday Night Market. James was always ready to answer any questions we had and asked if wanted our room cleaned on a daily basis. We were both sad to leave such a peaceful place and can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

The Staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms got cleaned well.But the beds are not good, the water preasure in the showers are almost non existant, internet is not usable at all and the pools water is Very dirty. I went into it and got a servere eye infection in both eyes. Had to go to hospital.

nice location inside the old town, the hotel itself is old and you need to be quiet after 10pm, looks like a family owned hotel all handled by the son and the dad which are both very friendly and able to speak English, the beds are big but …

Rooms could use a hanging rack. The pool filter did not work for 5 days that we were there. Other than that, the beds are comfy, the ac works, and the receptionist is very accommodating.
