Very beautiful spa hotel which completely succeeded our expectations. Super tranquil, full of plants, you can hear so many beautiful animal sounds. The rooms are spacious, beautiful outdoor showers and a big bath tub. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The owner as well. We absolutely loved our stay at Alam Dania Cottage and would love to come back soon.

Very pleasant stay, I recommend!This hotel is run by locals, the breakfast is fabulous.The hotel is located 15-20 minutes from the center of Ubud in Scooter, which offers a certain tranquility while having restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

There was a bad experience. We stayed in the wooden villa. It's a deserted place, underground, with no driveways and no other villas around. We said we didn't like it and wanted to change it, but they didn't help. We did not feel comfortable in terms of security. You wanted to use the bathtub, but we had a problem because the hot water limit was limited. It was a complete disappointment.

Because it is a small-scale cottage (there are 7 or 8 villas), the service is very personal. After 1 day it already feels like family. We had the villa with private pool and this villa was excellent! Neatly cleaned every day and the beds were also wonderful. You have 1 toilet and shower inside and you have 1 outside. The villa was in excellent condition. The location is somewhat far from Ubud center (15 minutes), but there are many very good transport options such as taxis or free shuttles that are ready for you within a few minutes. As far as we are concerned, there is no better place to stay in the Ubud region! Highly recommended! Thanks for everything Punia and crew!

REAL BALI. This place is amazing, I can't say it enough. Everything was so good, the place, the staff, the food. A quick taxi or scooter trip into Ubud and far enough from the town that it's quiet and peaceful. Balinese owned and run with local knowledge and all the hook ups. Best holiday ever

Punia is an incredible host. Not only are the accommodations great, but he and his team will go out of their way to make your stay perfect. The accommodations are magnificent and are identical to the magazine photos you see on Instagram. The massages are extraordinary (ask for Punia's sister, she gave me the best massages of my life). Punia also took care of booking our entire transfer to the GILI islands and back and it really was a godsend, because when we got there, everyone was panicked but thanks to him, we were really lucky! I thank Punia and her entire team for making our stay in Bali a dream break and also a lot of fluidity. Thank you Lot of LOVE!

Beautiful boutique hotel, great location, and the utmost welcoming staff you’ll ever come across.We found consistency in the welcoming nature of Indonesian hosts across the country during our Honeymoon, but Punia and his crew take the cake! Everything is easy with them. You can coordinate airport transfers, guided tours, and more. And, it never seemed like you were putting them out. They are pleased to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as can be. If you’re eyeing this for your Honeymoon, I wouldn’t hesitate to book.We stayed in the Honeymoon suite - it’s really the crown jewel of Alam Dania with its own plunge pool overlooking the rice terraces and jungle. There’s a beautiful communal pool as well, but we rarely saw people in it. As a matter of fact, we often felt like we had our own private boutique hotel (with two private pools!) even though the villas were full during our stay. This was a really nice place to feel like ‘we’ve made it to Ubud.’ The villa is very Hindu temple-like ... in fact, you wonder if you’re in the right place when you initially enter! But the second we arrived, the staff were there to take our bags and make us feel like we were at home.Location-wise, we enjoyed that it was away from the hustle & bustle of the main part of Ubud. But, Ubud was easily accessible - no more than 20 min. away if it was during rush hour.Punia and staff were so responsive. We never had issues getting a transfer to/from where we needed to be, we utilized laundry services, and we had a meal or two there (floating breakfast is fun!) where they bring food/drink directly to your villa.5 stars all around.

We had a great 4 night stay in the wooden villa with private pool. the pool was perfect, everything was clean and well maintained. The place is a little away from the center of Ubud (15 minutes by scooter) but is in an ideal setting with the calm of the rice fields. The service and staff are attentive and very welcoming. Thank you for this great time.

Good price/quality ratio. A lot quieter than the center of Ubud. Rooms were clean. The bathroom is a bit dated. Breakfast was brought to the room. Nice staff!

A wonderful hotel and the people who create an unforgettable atmosphere there. Rooms and bathrooms of an amazing standard. Individual swimming pools and Balinese massages. Excellent cuisine. Laundry on a regular basis. A place to relax and a base for a trip to the city. Just like at home...
